My Road to Success:
Starts with starting over, making good choices,
and following through.
To take life as it comes; and not get strung up by other's views.
To start this road is fearful, but exciting.
Knowing that I'll make lots of changes and find hardships on the way.
To be able to overcome my mental mindset.
And say that I'm better than okay.
My Road to Success, may not be that easy.
But I've decided to start with support this time, to help me make sure I'll be able to make it through.

My Goals:
-To go from 20% body fat to 15% body fat.
-To be able to cope with my heart defect and learn my limits of exercise/sport playing
-To learn to make healthy choices, and to be able to eat right
-To gain Self Confidence in myself, and not let others bring me down

About Me:
Hello. My name is Beth, or if you prefer, Lime.
I joined this guild so that I could get support from fellow members who are trying to achieve what I want.
To shed those fatty pounds and look amazing.

Weigh Ins:

Weigh ins occur every Sunday of the week.
The recording goes weight and than percentage fat.
However, the percentage fat is off on my scale because it depends how hydrated you are.
I will get a expert recording by the pinch test at the end of June.
So don't be concerned if it varies a lot.
Starting Weight: 130.0lbs - 20%
03.06.07: 132.4lbs - 21.9%
10.06.07: 131.6lbs - 22.9%

1 bag of Gummie Worms


Comments:
- I need to start weaning off my snacks during the day, because they are unhealthy. If I am still hungry I should consider eating larger meals.
- Once school ends I'll be able to make healthier decisions for lunches.
- I need to have a larger intake of water or other healthy drinks (fruit juices, Gatorade, etc.)
- I need to start counting calorie intake and other intakes to maximize my logging benefits.

Large amounts of unhealthy foods and beverages

Comments:
I totally blew off the beginning of my routine because I had to take a road trip to visit family. I therefore wasn't able to fit time in to exercise and I didn't keep track of what I ate. (My extended family lives on a farm so everything is either fresh or fried.)
I will start up again tomorrow.

Today was a bad day D:
I totally went south with what I was eating, ordering fast food and eating more than my fair share of sweets. I was better with drinking water today although. I need to start getting stricter with myself, and stop making excuses for myself.

Comments:
The only meal I am able to control what I eat right now is breakfast and snacks. I was okay during breakfast, but the problem is snacking. I need to find something that fills me up so I don't go back to unhealthy snacking.
At least I exercised today.

Going through some rough times right now.
I have currently gained 2 pounds because of a recent death in my family.
So stress and sadness is at an all time high.
When I get sad or stressed, I eat junk food. Resulting in the gain of pounds, and an increase in fat percentage.
Hopefully I'll be able to find a better way of coping.
I have started a journal. So maybe that will help a bit.
I'm seriously going to exercise and watch what I eat this week.
I may not be able to choose what foods I eat, but I can eat them in the correct proportions. That will be my goal this week.

Wow. Ate really badly today.
Still in the depressed because of family situations.

During the time I haven't logged I've done 4 hours of bike riding with friends. Which is positive. Plus I was eating semi-healthy. I can't believe I didn't log it. T.T

I burned 1260 worth of calories.
The total calories of the day is 120

Comments:
Oh my gosh. This is my best day for exercise ever so far. I never knew 2 hours of basketball practice just running drills could burn that many calories. I was shocked when I looked down at my heart/calorie monitor. But in a good way! Monday - Thursday is basketball practice. So I'm glad I'll be getting good results 4 days of the week at least that's set in stone. I need to pay more attention to what I eat though.
