Some people like Wales, some don't, others have a zealous hatred of the Welsh.
If you have a hatred for the Welsh, please explain your reason, backed up with evidence to why they made you hate them.
What's your stance on the subject of the country of Wales?
Anyone from here (Wales)? EDIT: Top two lines added my me, Invi. EDIT numero deux: Bottom two lines made more coherent by me, Nebby. wink

I like Wales. I particularly like Tenby (is that little metal/punk record shop still there? That place was great!), Trawfynyd (sp?) because my Grandad helped build it, Snowdon for obvious reasons and numerous Llangothlen (I apologise for the horrible spelling) because the book shop there is magnificent.

Wonderful place. Perhaps not as dramatic as Scotland, but a damn sight warmer

Our school went on a trip to a retreat somewhere and there was a Welsh school there. There was a Francis-cult whereby they'd chant my name and cheer, bizarre.
Great bunch though, one of the girls gave me a rose as I left. Kath she was called, I still have it somewhere..
..the rose, that is.

That said, you are probably better at English than I am.

I'm in the South of Wales as I speak. I don't really have anything against Wales, only that I can't use my Blind Person's Travel Card to get free travel *huffs* And the trains look suspiciously like buses . . . stare Damn Arriva.
Another thing I don't quite like is that it's too damn warm here. I'm not quite used to the heat yet, it's almost unexpected. Good thing I didn't bring any jeans, I'd have boiled to death by now.
In case anyone's interested, I'm somewhere in Barry. Surrounded by Welsh neds, arrgh! gonk Not that everyone here's a ned, of course, just that there's a lot of them. At least in my area *shrugs helplessly*
Oh - no one here would happen to go to the South Wales Linux User Group eh?
