Q, you can reason with him, or play along.
species 8472, they're only pissed at the federation because of janeway. I doubt they'd just randomly come out of nowhere, and kill you.
but the BROG!, they wont stop chasing you if htey found you, its uber hard to get ridd of even a single scout ship. assimilation is the most painfull "and it's really long" experience ever, and then you become a mindless drone, that assimilates more people..
and you cant reason with them!

I agree with the Admiral. Though if you did some research, you would find that the Planet Killer of TOS was really ment to destroy the Borg.

You wanna know who scares me shitless?

The people that built the Dyson Sphere. Can you imagine that kind of power put into a weapon? WUD (Weapon of ultimate destruction). Someone call Bush. He needs to send in some Marines to take care of em. (Army FTW!)

So far only two things in Star Trek have scared me.

From TNG episode where Riker thinks he's gone mad, there is this man who keeps appearing out of nowhere and stares at him. I believe it is this man.

And from TOS episode where that baby thing pretends to be something else. The baby thing was also creepy, but this was much creepier.

I was kind of scared when Reg turned into a spider creature in TNG.
The Borg are awesome not scary.
Q is ultra awesome not scary.

The scariest monsters are those little creatures in TNG that entered the mouth and attached themselves to the back of the brain in the back of the neck. It was the goriest episode trek ever created. The "mother" monster was destroyed when Picard and Riker blew up the head and torso of the host. It was also a story line that was never tied up.
