Ok, this isn't a new trend by far, but is anyone else sick of the little shits that treat people like dirt with no consideration for 'maybe they aren't a bad as you percieve them to be'

And then there's the low-lifes that feel the need to insult and ridicule others to make themselves feel justified and valuable within their chosen subculture.

Doesn't this just annoy the hell out of you and make your blood boil?! Doesn't this make you want to scream and shout your head off for their idiocy at not beign able to think for one moment that they're not the great high and mighty person they think themselves to be?!

But, consider, for a moment if you will, the reason for why thy act like this. In my experience, they are people that have insecurities in themselves and their lives that make them act out, they feel the need to stomp on other people instead of talk constructively because it makes them feel more important.

Then there's the people that react that way because you remind them of how they used to be themselves, you're a reflection of what they were, and they don't like it, they feel ashamed of this and their attack on you is perhaps more an attack on themselves for having that awkward teenage stage of where they were learning about the world.

And then there's the people that are just asses and so going to be condemned to life restricted by this, they're going to push away a lot of people, usually all but the other asses so they get stuck with themselves.


Maybe keep in mind this the next time someone insults you.

I insult just to be insulted, because I love it. I like being talked down to, so I coerce attractive strangers to do it by pissing them off.

Otherwise? I couldn't care less what it's about, subcultures, justification or not.

But its like that with all sub cultures, we have an 11 year old member in the emo guild, and she gets picked on constantly by the other members. Its not a new thing, as for metal, to be honest, I don't think its much of an issue over here. Save the occasional person that thinks he's better then everyone, who just gets dragged kicking and screaming into a slam pit (for those who need an explanations, a slam pit is a combination of moshing, wall of death, pogoing and windmilling).

I know, but its human nature, to prove your better then someone else... tell a lie, its male testosterone that makes people like that, its the way it isn't, people are ruled by impulse.

Hey hey, in all fairness, if they didn't come invading my pub, I wouldn't have to pick on them. Besides, its not like its physical, I just feel if you get into a pit, unless you're really young, then its no holds barred, you know the risk on entering. Besides, I don't pick on them, so much as the fashion and music they like. smile

You just have an over abundance of estrogen, which in turn leads to a time of the month where no man wants to be around. Funny link by the way. smile

I don't beat them up though, I dance... they... are in the way. Thats all. smile

I claim exception to the rule, I burn all my man hormones in productive ways, gaming, writing, drawing, pleasing my lady friend. I'm a little grouchy and irritable all the time, but thats because I'm an old man.

Seriously, I've never beat an up an emo, I've been tempted, but its never worth it... I've poured a few drinks over them for being annoying and elitist.
