To die will be an awefully big adventure (Peter Pan)
There is nothing to fear but fear itself (Harry Potter)
What's inside you is stronger than any spell (Ella Enchanted)
I guess it's hard for people who are so used to things the way they are - even if they're bad - to change. 'Cause they kind of give up. And when they do, everybody kind of loses. (Pay it Forward)
I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I can tell. (Beauty and the Beast)
So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.(Lord of the Rings)
Just wish for the moon and the moon will appear, lighting the sky just for you (Beauty and the Beast)

Sorry, I'm being picky right now...

I thought the Peter Pan quote was "an awfully GREAT adventure".

I love Man of La Mancha, and I was standing over Underestimated_Angel's shoulder as she wrote her quote (we're sisters). MY favorite quote is:

"What will come, will come, and we'll have to meet it when it does."

-Hagrid, Harry Potter 4

I have two, The first is from the movie Hook and it's Hook's line about "Why parents HATE their children..." I can't remember it all but the other is from the Symphony of the Ages series by Elizabeth Haydon
"Children's the only thin' tha' keeps a man from livin' foreva... Since they make 'im wan' to die of mortification a' least once a day..."

I have several favourite quotes- some coming from real people I know.

"One part brain; three parts fool"- Eragon-

Katara- 'Let us leave!'
King Bumi- 'Lettuce leaf?'
-Avatar: The Last Airbender-

"But Captain! No one ever returns from there!"
"Then I wonder where the stories came from."
- Pirates of the Caribbean -

"I'm not losing at the game even though the words 'GAME OVER' appears on the screen a thousand time, I am simply making it last longer."
- Anonymous (for Gaia Online viewers)-

And several other quotes . . .

There used to be a radio story in the 50's I believe for Don Quixote, traveling the land on his donkey with Sancho his companion. One episode ended with the pair having just left a town leading the announcer to say "And so we leave DOn Quixote, sitting on his a** outside the city gates"

Classic! I still grin over it!

*note, if it hasn't been noted yet,
"To die will be an awefully big adventure" is from the movie "Hook" ...
Not from "Peter Pan" .. unless you meant Pan said it? In that case I'd argue he had changed his name to Peter Banning? wtv. i'd argue the scales off a fish given half a change and 4 hours sleep

To die is the only adventure ... is the quote i like better ...

my favorite quote:
"On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero." (Fight Club)

My Favoritest Ever quote:
"Wanting someone to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore; you have to hit them with a sledgehammer. And then you'll notice you've got their strict attention."
(Se7en)

I vote for "There is nothing to fear but fear itself (Harry Potter)"

I have a similar quote: The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown. by H.P. Lovecraft

I learned it when I'm writing an essay about gothic literature ^_^

I vote for "To die is an awfully great adventure"
something sad about that.. lol

umm. doesn't really pertain to the whole fantasy genre, but my favourite quote of all time is:

"Nothing will remain of me... I die without seeing the sun rise on my country. You who are to see the dawn, welcome it, and do not forget those who fell during the night."
- Nolli Me Tangere

I doubt anyone would know the book, but I've always loved that quote.
