Something I drew in photoshop, I thought it would be nice to draw something else besides a face. Especially the grass is giving me problems. Any suggestions on how to make it look better?

I think the main difficulty with this piece is the lack of perspective. The grass pattern is consistent throughout and the clouds are all the same size. The bottom most cloud should probably be smaller and the grass strokes should get shorter the further the grass gets from the viewer. Play with it a little and see if that helps.

I really like that sky though, those clouds are prettyful.

The clouds look better now they're not the same size anymore, but the grass could still use some work. sweatdrop

I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions for this piece: xd

For the grass, maybe try to lose strokes the further back you get, blending it into one colour will help it look like its further away by losing detail...I think.
The sky looks much better by the way.

My main complaint on the second is the cropping. Since only slivers are cut off the tree, widen your canvas to include it. I think giving your canvas more height to open up the negative space on the top would be good too.
