Myspace contest...really to trust?

Okay, so my really good
friend Genevive miracuously won
the first pair of free tickets and passes
to meet MCR, very exciting!
She came 20 hours before the concert
and spent the night in the parking lot.

When she asked the men at
the venue gates for her passes they
simply denied her and said
"Nice try, girl."

She never got to meet MCR. She won but
never got what she deserved..

So this really pissed me off..knowing
that this contest that people were going
crazy about was a fake..
Genevive just told me that it was probably
the venue's fault, considering it was so shitty.

So the third winner ended up being blown off
as well!!

Winners do get their tickets...but apparently
the whole meet and greet doesnt happen.

This is just a warning to those of you who
are getting super hyped.

Myspace reallllyyy sucks with organizing
these kind of things, unfortunately.

Yeah not to mention the fact that the winners are supposed to be announced for each show three days before the sow they won tickets to and the day after my show, a winner still wasn't announced. mad

Yeah, the winner of the contest for my concert was posted AFTER the concert!

Hearing this makes me want to cry! emo
I'm so sorry those two didn't get to meet My Chem.

If I was them I would have started to cry, Breakdown infront of them...
Now I'm kinda glad I lost...

Poor Genevieve. She really deserved to meet them. It's awesome that she got to talk with Frank and take a picture. Last I heard, her toes were going to be permanently numb. Still no feeling in them?

Well, I entered the contest, and it seems kind of sketchy. I figure it'd be cool to win them. I hope that at least some of the people actually get the meet and greet.

As for the 'three days before the show'. It says they will be chosen three days before. In order to have a winner, they have to get in touch with them. If they can't they choose someone else, so that could possibly be why. Of course, they haven't been announcing the winners till after the concert, and you would figure tehy'd know who the final winner is by the concert date.

Myspace sucks.
