Their best album, in my opinion, would be Vulgar.
Withering to Death and Gauze coming close tied at second.
My favorite song of all time would be Drain Away.

Haha... I can't try ranking albums because then I feel bad -- their old stuff is so different from their new stuff, and it's hard to compare them to each other...
the new album is love, though.

I Love Dir En Grey!!... I have all Their CDs Except for KAI! (unless they made a new one recently, Which I'm pretty sure they did.. i don't have that one either)...
I Like a lot of japanese music, And have about 30 to 40 visual kei CDs... It's so hard to get them when they don't sell them around here! lol!..
I even got a dir en grey tattoo, The scientist fly from the KAI CD... even if I Stop liking the band(which I doubt I ever will), That fly guy is still cool!

yeah, i have Withering to death, The original and the re-release.. And Yes, That's right, I know about marrow to the bone.. don't have that one yet, sadly! I'll have to get those singles too!..
