I am one of those scorned who hate v-day.
My story is that one of my best friends is going out with the guy I like. She knew I liked him before she started him. I told her it was okay, but it still hurts, you know?
anybody else have scorned love stories?

Sadly, I have so real tales of heartbreak. Well, the guy I really like transfered to another school, but I most recently learned that he had joined that school's stoner crowd.
I'm told I'm a freak because I don't get all dramatic and messed about guys. Hey, if one party dislikes the other, no big loss. Plenty more to choose from later.

everyone always get's all werid on that day, and they act different.

The story of my one and only love & monumental heartbreak:
When I was 10, I met an amazing guy in school. It was love at first sight, y'know? We instantly became best friends. He had to move after elementary school - 40 minutes away from me; but we still talked at least one hour on the phone each weekend. He'd call on the exact same day at the exact same time, always. Once we even talked for seven hours. I loved him so damn much.
When I was 13, on Christmas Eve, he called me - but not to wish me a merry Christmas. He just wanted to talk. Then, in the conversation, he asked, "Do you love anyone?" I was scared. I didn't want to lose my best friend. So I said, "Do you? Tell me and I'll tell you."
On Christmas morning, I received an e-mail saying that he loved me. It was the best present I could get.
We kept talking on the phone like nothing happened until the summer that followed. He said that he loved me again. We drank a bit too much. I fell asleep on him. It was kind of sweet.
Three months later, he told me he was gay. That was only the beginning.
Five months later, he had sex with my other best guy friend, and they dated for a while.
One month later, my friend broke his heart and left him.
I was the one to call him - for the first time.
"Are you alright?"
"No one cares about me."
"I care about you. I did during four years."
"That's not the same. I don't want you to care about me."
It was our last conversation. I'm turning 17 in a few weeks and I'm still not over it. Sometimes I miss him. "Sometimes" being the keyword.

I hate V day
I hate how all the girls start competing on that day.
"how many cards did you get this time?"
"How much candy did you get?"
And every year I got nothing. And they laughed at me every time I tell them I got nothing.
Last V day was an exception.
The guy I liked sent me an amnonous Singing rose gram. A week later he asked another girl out and is still going out with her.

I hate it when people do that... and yet, they have the nerves to say you are their friend.
She has no respect for your feelings.
I've never had a good v-day. I've only had 2 boyfriends, both are Ex's now and both of them screwed up V-day. I've never had a good v-day. my first boyfriend didn't believe in V-day.. or any special days. so we never went out to celebrate.
my 2nd boyfriend managed to get pissed off with something 2 years in a row about something dumb.

i don't have any stories but the title of this totally reminded me that the local library in my town is having an anti-Valentines day dance
you bring a date to it you get jumped XD lmfao i love my library..
