Short Term Goal
To loose at least 4lbs or 5lbs a month.

Long Term Goal
To loose a total of 42 lbs and adopt a healthier lifestyle.

I'd like to loose this weight by August. This is when my husband and I are going to Las Vegas for our 2nd Anniversary.

Day 1: 01 Feb 07



Breakfast:
I didn't eat breakfast today. I woke up late.
But, I did drink a huge glass of milk.
Mm. I love milk!


Snack:


Lunch:
Tomato soup
Whole grain toasted cheese

Baked Chicken
Ceaser Salad

Thoughts

Today was a difficult day for me. I stayed up till two AM trying to finish a book for my lit appreciation class. It was a difficult book to get into and even more difficult to finish. Other students said they didn't even finish it. I got up late because of staying up late, which threw my whole day out of whack.

After my dinner has settled for an hour or so, I will jump on the treadmill for about 45 minutes. I'll record that later of course. I've decided that I am going to try to start getting up early, so that I can do 45 minutes of cardio in the morning and use the evening for weights or aerobics. Not sure yet.

I have a huge problem with motivate. I need to work on that.

2% Milk.

Tomato soup
Shutup! I love Tomato soup.

I don't remember eating dinner lastnight.

Activity:
My Job requires me to be available all over campus. I was on my feet all day fixing problems with computers. I think that counts as activity. My legs hurt from it.

Day 4: 04 Feb 07
BREAK DAY! Hurrah!
NEWS: I've lost 2lbs.
But, I suspect this will not stay off long, as I am to be getting my period this week. = (
Also, I plan on only weighing myself once a week.
It's too depressing to do everyday.

Thoughts
I've decided to make sundays my break days. I do not plan on eating everything and anything. I am still going to try to eat in proper portions. Today my husband and I are being invited to dinner with one of his friends.

On Monday, I am going to start waking up a few hours early to get in a treadmill session or an aerobic video. Cross your fingers for me that I will actually do it!

PB & J sandwitch on wheat bread
Orange Juice

Snack:

Dinner:
Italian Meatballs
Ceasar salad

Water Intake:

Activity:

User Image For about a hour. I am not sure how many reps I did. But, My arms are killing!
Stability ball - sit ups, leg lifts. As many as I could do.
User Image - I also just sat on it for a while. This improves balance and your core.



Thoughts

Stressed out from school and work. I realize working out helps to relieve stress. Hopefully this will help keep me motivated!

Left over italian meatballs
with a little bit of cheese sprinkled over them

I did different things while watching tv too. Sit ups, dancing around, walking back and forth.

-- So I was sick for about a week. I couldn't eat much. The only thing that would stay in me was crackers and water. I am better now and I am getting back on track.

I've lost three more pounds, but I suspect it could be from being sick.
none-the-less, it still made me feel a little good.

Small update

I've still been exercising and eating right. I am having trouble finding time to update. Classes are killing me with research projects and midterms.

I've lost two more lbs also!

168!!! wooot! I bought myself four new, nice shirts as celebration.

Thank God that spring break is here. I have two take home midterms to work on and a ton of independenty study to catch up. But that's ok! I feel ok about it. I plan on using spring break to train myself to get up early enough to exercise before class and work. I think I can do it.

For every ten pounds I lose, I will buy myself a new outfit. XD My mother sent me a bunch of jeans each a size smaller than the next. Down to a size nine. This way, I have at least one pair of jeans to wear at each new size. It made me sooo happy.

My husband has been using the gym at his work and he's looking great too!! Hurray!
