ok...i got some questions...why do i see a ton of people in this guild talking about racism? i mean why are asians so interested racism? Why do most people care that other random people give them weird looks on the street and immediately think that it's racism?

I don't see much topics about racism in this guild...
Or of people really having problems with racism...
Sure it comes up once in a while...
But mostly Asians have a problem with all the stereotyping...
I guess lots of Asians make a big deal about racism...
Because racism really is a big deal!...
If it doesn't bother you then that's great!...
But it still bothers many others...
And...
The thing about people looking at you funny...
Heh that's weird >.<...
Maybe people are just paranoid like that...
People could just feel really uncomfortable with random people staring at them...
I personally love the attention of people staring at me weird...

There are people in this world that never seem to look/think when they come to view this guild...
They judge people like a books' cover, you know what I mean...
When they see a guild with only one kind of race they think of stupid things and it comes to racism...
Its odd that people give you looks but don't let it bother you, I get those looks but w.e. what are they going to do.? Stare me to death.?

It's not the stares that people hate, heck I know I get stared at a lot because of the way I carry myself. It's not the stares, it's the stupid questions, the automatic stereotyping, and the overall ignorance that gets to people.
Yes, there have been a few threads about racism, but I think any ethnic group has conversed it whether amongst each other or with other people.
I haven't really read any accounts where people have complained about others staring but I know a lot of people here hate stereotyping which goes hand in hand with racism.

but sometimes it gets really annoying whee
like when i was on a skytrain...this old lady was pointing at me and talking with her son and telling him something..all i heard was "........you.....dont....people.....her..... " and when she looked back i put on a fake smile... stressed ok maybe im going off topic..well anyways, I say, let the staring and awkwardness be, and live our lives and be where we wanna be! (cool it rhymed xd )

ok....that's all i wanted to read...i just needed to know that out of the 3 billion asians in the world, some of them actually think similar to me about racism. just needed to know that i'm not just one person thinking like this.

Lol yeah I guess so. I have had friends that call other people racist (even other asians) simply for doing something stupid or mean. But seriously, I don't see a lot of people talking about racism in this guild and I don't think that asians are that prejudiced (sorry if that's not a word) upon. I do think that there are some times that asians are made fun of more so that other races to their face, such as in the situation in which a friend was directly insulted because a frat boy thought it was funny to talk about FOBs.

You just respect them and they respect you (except those retarded ones). Its better to make them your friend (if possible) then have more enemies. Mostly their hispanics and when you get them mad, its like half the whole school's aganist you. I just try to make friends with them and if it's not possible then the ppl will hate that person and think of you as their own. Get it?
