Lately I've been collecting 12" Bleeding Edge Goths. Their names and the bios that come with them may be sort of silly, but I love the ones with the flowing dresses and corsets and so far I have four. They make me smile when I see them sitting on my bookshelf, all creepy and pretty. Is there anyone else here who collects BEGoths or other gothic fashion dolls? Here's a place to share your links, thoughts, and pics!

They look exactly like Bratz, and therefore are whore mannequins.
The bad kind.

My fiance had several when I first met him. He was planning on getting rid of them for the move... but I hope he doesnt because they are soooo cute. I think you can purchase them from their website. I had looked into getting him one once.

They used to just give a list of suppliers on their website, but you can order them direct now.
Hot Topic sometimes carries them, but it's best to call ahead and find out when a shipment is coming in because the most popular ones sell out fast. I've also seen them in my local comic and figurine shop. Stores like that are a good place to check and will usually let you pre-order.
As for the Bratz comparison, the BEGoths do look a bit different. Sure, they've got big heads, but they don't have the tiny Alien-From-Planet-Zort bodies or the bizarre screw-off feet. The body mould is the same as Barbie's... except for the more recent releases, which have visible ribs and clavicle bones.
I might not let a young, impressionable daughter play with them, because they could inspire a negative body image. But they're geared more for teens and adults, so I'm not too offended by the Needs To Eat A Sandwich look.
