I was checking out the MCR site and I went to the store and saw The Black Parade - special edition. So I was wondering, Does anyone have it and if so, Is it worth the extra money?

I'm actually saving up for it. I don't know...in my personal opinion I think it's worth it because i'm a huge fan of Gerard's art work and it gives them money....so...yeah! If I were you...then get it! Remember, you also get a 10% discount if you're a member of The Black Parade.

Hells yes its worth the extra money.
It has 4 collectors pictures, a book on the making of the Black Parade which also has Gerard's drawings in it. And Lyrics to all the songs on the album (cept Blood I think)
You also get a 10% discount (or 5 I dont remember) on your next purchase online.
You certainly get your monies worth.

I think there is more than one special edition but i am not sure... I have the fuzzy box one its worth the money.

so nobody has said what the real cost for the special edition is. you people just said its worht your money. well if you bought it you should knoe how much it costs right???

well it cost me $89AU
so if you do the money converter thing it should give you the price.
but that was plus shipping fee and I wasnt told how much it would be without the shipping.

i think i payed around $40.00 [canadian] for mine in CD Plus.. not sure if they still have it there, though..
but it is definately worth the money.
it includes the C.D [obviously], four photographs [three of the band, one of the picture of "the black parade.." [thats also on the regular C.D], and a booklet which includes:
the making of the black parade written by Gerard, Mikey and Bob,
commentary of each song by Ray and Frankie
all the lyrics accept for "blood",
and lots of art and photographs.
