When I listen to mcr, some of the songs touch me more than others because they remind me of personal experiences.
What songs stand out as those you could relate to?

SKYLINES AND TURNSTILES
reminds me of my uncle..
he was involved in 9/11. he survived it, though.
but then he died after. crying
poor uncle.

Ghost of you.
I don't see my baby sister anymore because her father (my ex-step dad) is to be nice to the man a complete t**t.
Helena....i just got told my grandad is dying...(as in told today) and because he is like 82 with heart problems and a ulsor in his stomach they don't know how much longer he'll live...maybe a few years most likely less...
I'd hate to speculate.

Cancer reminds me of my last boyfriend who died because of cancer.

...Alot of stuff. I look inside my head [actully just thinking] and I find perfect videos that I see for the songs. AMVs too. Also that it reminds too much of life and stuff. Kind of stuff that inspired me to wrie and stuff. I write my won stuff thank you. I get inspired alot by lyrics. I don't know what my fav song is. I listen to Famous last words alot. Well, that me, I guess.

Cancer reminds me of both my cats who died at the age of only 7 early 2006 of pancreatic cancer.

Seven years have gone so fast
And one of my friends has a real connection to this song...
I was singing Cancer on the bus from school cause I was on a high off the recently-released BP, and Kirsten started crying. I asked her why, and she told me that her lovely standard poodle Bosha was dying of gut cancer like my cats. I stayed with her all day, and I came with her to the vet's when they decided that Bosha wasn't happy because she was in pain all the time, she should be put down. I stayed outside the room so that Kiri could stay with Bosha for the last time, and gave her a hug when she came out. So at choir the next day, my friend Janice found the piano part for Cancer and I sang it for Kiri and Bosha's memory in front of everyone.
Everyone was sobbing a bit after that.

What dont they remind me of? I seem to have some sort of connection to all the songs. However, "Helena" and "Not Okay" remind me of summer, and "WTTBP" reminds me of clorox...as in the cleaning fluid...strange.

I also seem to have a bit of a connection with all the songs. Helena reminds me of back in high school, this girl died in a car crash. I went to her wake because my friend was really close to her.
The sharpest lives reminds me of my college life, just drinking and stuff to escape my past.
They all remind me of something.

Ghost of You: I'm just scared about my grandma or grandpa dieing and me missing them very much I really love them. crying
Disenchanted:My ex-close friend being so stupid as to not listen to anything I say.
Cubicles:Me dieing alone and never loving anyone!

Numba 1 : disenchanted reminds me of my life basically, and most recently i listen to it at night so i can fall asleep, cause well i dont wanna tell you
