An empty soul, and a bloody heart
"I remember the days, when you'd whisper, just how much you loved me.
How you would do anything for me.
Why did you leave?
Now, when I hear the muttering, I turn, and I'm alone.
Why did you leave me?
Alone, I face my darkest fear...
No longer are you there to hold my hand.
No longer are you there to wipe my tears.
No longer, do you love me.
My mind is plagued with the sweetest memories with you...
I stare at my bloody corpse, and ask myself again...
Why did you leave me?
You stand above my shell, clutching the knife...
I go to hold you, but, I'm merely a shadow now...
And then, I see why you left...
Because you were dead too.
Together, our bodies are moved.
But where are you?
Your soul is missing.
I cannont hold you...
I cannot tell you I love you...
I cannot see you...
Why did you leave me.
I sigh, and await your arrival, in the cold and lonely shadows...

But you will never come."

Song about killing a memory.

Tiger Lily

"You sit there, beautiful and majestic
And yet, lead a life so hectic
You float peacfuly along the river
There's not enough love the world could give her
Alone you sit upon a leaf
Stained with the tears of pain and grief
The sun dances across your petals
They have been scarred by various metals
This withered flower is the Tiger Lily...
And I cannot explain how much she means to me..."

I love you

"I hold you tightly in a hug,
as we stand on your "welcome" rug.
As she reaches for the door,
my want to hold her grows more and more.
She says "I have to go"
I smile and say "no"
So, finaly we break away
My thoughts relive our wonderful day
She walks in and says "good-bye"
I say "Don't say that until you die"
She smiles and says "I hope I never do...
Not as long as I'm with you"

Sleepless nights
"Once again, I find myself awake in bed.... Thoughts of you, filling my head
Once again I'm afraid to sleep...
For the nightmare's might cut too deep
Nightmares of not being there to wipe your tears...
Those are my real fears...
Alone I lie in my room awake
Alone I listen to my heart break
I close my eyes and wish you were here...
Just so I could hold you near."

Good-bye...
"I held you in our last embrace,
as the icey tears slid down my face.
"NO!" you cried.
Sadly, all I can say is, "I'm sorry I lied"
I promised I'd always be there!
I apologize for these lies... They led you nowhere...
I promised I'd never hurt you!
But, hurting you is all I seem to do...
Deeper and deeper, the dagger of lies sink into your heart...
I can only watch as it tears you apart...
I push away and stare into your tear-stained eyes...
I see now, the effect of these lies.
I whisper "I'm so sorry."
She looks away and says "you meant so much to me..."
"I know, I know...
But, now, I must go..."
I walk away, but not before I say good-bye...
I can no longer watch your heart die...."

Love at first sight.

"The first night of our meeting,
was nothing more than some greeting...
But, I had this strange feeling...
Like, it was my heart, you were stealing.
And, something later that night, made you cry.
I promised, I'd do more than try.
I'd do everything I could possibly do,
just so I could be with you.
You looked at me, and told me, it was I whom you were in love.
And that I must have been sent from above.
"But I'm not from above...
I'm standing right here"
I said as I took your shoulder, and held you near...
For that small moment, I held you, and you held me.
And from then on, I knew our love would last eternaly...
Who'd have know, this would come from our first night?
I'd have never thought this to be, love at first sight"

Nothing more than a game...

"What is it that has my heart aflame?
The fact people act as though life's a game.
It takes too much for people to learn,
but, my heart's already begun to burn.
There's more to life than just you!
What you do effects others too!
Is it too much to ask us to treat one another,
as we should our own mother?
To give others the curtosy,
you've come to expect from me.
I don't find it too much to ask.
And it's not a terrible task.
So take some of this to heart,
and maybe, save mine from being ripped apart"

Angel with a gun

"I am a man who had the will to steal.
My punishment is one I shall forever feel.
An angel in blue came to me.
He said "I shall show you no mercy"
He revealed a gun...
And explained this was the penance for what I had done."

Is it so hard?
Is it so hard?

"Why is it you deprive her of love?
Why is it, you deprive her of attention?
Is it because you hate her?
Or simply don't love her?
Yuo tell her she needs it, and you refuse to give it!
So, she seeks it in way, she knows can't be ignored...
She dresses different,
She's only a slut.
She acts different,
She's only a liar...

Are you blind?
HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE?
YOU ARE THE TARGET FOR ATTENTION!!
She loves you...
Stupid slut
She tells you...
Liar!!
Understand, you are the slut...
You are the liar...
Is it too hard to admit your mistake in not loving her?
To late...
Now she seeks it elsewhere, and is alone...
She wants anyone to love her, and along he comes...
Her angel...
He uses her for all he can, and then leaves!
Was it so hard to love her and prevent this?
Was it so hard to do all you could to help her?
Surely it must have been...
For now, I clean your mistake.
Tell her you love her... And mean it...."

Dying breath.

"... I stand there screaming and crying, as you lie there, bleeding and dying.... If I were to say "I love you" you would probably reply "yeah, me too" but you wouldn't die then, would you? "Why?" I whisper as she says "Tell mother I'll miss her"As she drew her dying breath, all I could do was welcome death. And so I picked up the gun and said "See ya soon hun..." "

The world is like an ocean...

"We are but ripples creating and effecting the world around us. For one ripple may create a cluster. Those create a wave. A wave of change that then creates a ripple. That one ripple may others, or wash them away, in a sea of forgetfulness... Because we are but ripples in an ocean of a world. Changing and effecting the world around us"

Moonlight rain...
This is my first official poem in six years, so... I know it's not the best, but I figured I'd post it anyway... (writer's note)

"As we stood arguing in the road, this is when her true colours showed.
She turns to walk away
Of course, I try and convince her to stay.
I yell "Please stop! We just need to talk!"
She only continues to walk.
My mind begins to race.
"None of this makes sense!"
Before I know it, she's beyond the fence...
This is how she broke my heart
She turns only to say; "I hate you"
Those three words ripped it apart.
It was then I felt no one could understand my pain,
As I stood soaking in the moonlight rain..."

Hehe, I'm glad they were enjoyed^^ I'm working on a new one everyday^^
Angel with a gun, is a very... Short, but serious poem, I wrote, after my ex, was raped.

Tiger Lily, was inspired by a girl I know, who's got a crappy home life, and over all crappy life, but is such a great person!^^ It's my favourite as well^^

I've heard of many people crying over these^^ Thank you all very, very much!^^ I love to hear from my readers... It's cool if you wanna PM me and talk about it, or talk about it here...

You Complete Me...

"Body, mind and soul,
you are the one who makes me feel whole.
At the mention of your name,
I think of the one who feels the same.
The thoughts of you are always present in my mind...
To stray away from them, is to leave my heart behind.
The sound of your voice rings in my ears.
It will remain that way for years, and years.
The warnth of your arms around my body,
is the presense of the one who means so much to me.
To this day, I'm still in that trance...
The one I caught, upon our first glance.
The first thing I saw was your face.
I saw how the beauty illuminated the whole place.
But when we part ways,
know that every moment without you feels like a million days.
Every moment without your voice,
is not one I take upon choice.
Every moment without your arms around me,
is like a small eternity.
Even while I write this, I'm missing you.
And I know it's the same pain for you too...
So know, we share the same heart...
Even though we're apart.
And before I end this note, know I love, and miss you...
And I know it'sd the same for you too...."

Through the brightest morning, or the darkest night,

Even through this unsteady climb,

As I help you out of your grave,
I say, "It was your soul I was trying to save"

Killing, what killed you
"It begins to grow old.
I'm tired of the lies I'm being told.
I'm doing what I've been told to do, and that's change my view.
To change the way I see you.
Now I stare into your eyes,
and see on I despise.
No longer do I see,
the one who loved me.
Regardless of what you say,
I choose to feel this way.
One might ask, "why?"
and I'd simply reply, "Because I'm watching the ones they hurt die"
I want to heal!
Pin is not all one can feel!
I lay my hands upon the cuts on your arm.
"Why do you wish yourself harm?"
I lay my hands on the cuts on your wrists.
"You only did this, when you were pissed"
Now I lay my hands upon the gun.
"Don't worry, your pain is done."
You are healed, you are free!
Don't even bother taking the time to thank me.
