but from what i can see out of the threads i've gotten too so far...the people here are FAR too touchy about people even making the slightest comment about them in the negative fashion.
Dont get me wrong, I love them to death...but some of the people here are psychotic when it comes to their fandom.....and I'm definately not prepaired to deal with these kind of people. I'd have loved to stay, but unfortunately I'm going to have to bow out and drop this guild.
maybe i'll find a more relaxed MCR based guild.

I wish you didn't feel that way, but I can totally see where you're coming from. Good luck finding a new guild.

They do tend to get a little over excited when some one says something even slightly offensive about the band. But I try not to let it ruin this guild for me.

I'd have to agree. I love MCR, but I don't get offended when my friends make jokes about them. That's their perogative. People don't have to love what I love. I know that I don't like what they listen to.

Well, Its your choice to leave but it seems like you may be over-reacting. Just because people want to defend them is no good reason to leave. Even if they get a little paranoid at times, you just need to deal with it.

From my experience this is one of the most laid back guilds on gaia...
But whatever floats your boat dear.
If you can't handle a few hardcore fans then perhaps you should leave.

Is this because of what I posted? Well sorry, but people act differently to things. What my aunt said was pretty offensive, so I took it in a hard way. But if there was anything less about them like, "They're ugly" or "They suck" I pay no attention. I just didn't like the way she said they were gay. If you're quitting by what I said, then that's pretty stupid. Sorry, but it's the truth.

Got to agree with you on the touchy-part. People were SO pissed about MadTV spoofing MCR.
I thought it was hilarious.
I guess I'm just one of those people who look at both sides I guess?
And MadTV didn't directly target MCR.
Not only were they flattering them,
But MadTV does things like that all the time.
People gotsto relax.

Aww. I have noticed too, that there are a lot of threads that have gotten mad at people making fun of MCR. It's starting to get a little annoying, because there will always be people who don't like My Chemical Romance. The MadTV thread was especially spazy.
People gotta reeelaaax.

I'm just glad there aren't those "more hardcore than you" people here, like on the Emo guild.....No onre insults you and everyone gets along pretty smooth.

I'm sorry you feel that way....but if I were you I'd give it one more shot right? It's always good to talk to people with you interests and rant to people who know how it feels to go through some things. You'll find crazy fans anywhere....
But if you must leave I guess it's goodbye? *huggles* Feel better and don't let uber fans ruin anything for you.
