My only suggestion is to try to draw them yourself and design your own variants. Be creative. Oh, and keep in mind scale.

It would be kinda cool if somehow everyone contributed their own drawings and design somehow to create a large image of a fleet. Everyone with their own ideas could add their own.

I would suggest that you keep working on it. I doodle a lot and find myself drawing ship variants from either the top or side views. Scale is important in that when you add more detail such as hull plating or windows it adds to the realism.
