GERARD ISN'T HOMELESS. xd
For the next year the band will be touring non-stop, so they're considered "homeless". At the moment they basically live on the move... :3
That article is 100% bullshit. whee They called Gerard gothic... If anyone in the world has a label, it's NOT Gerard Way. He's himself. He rejects labels.
How do you think he would have gotten the money to buy all his clothes and necessities if he was homeless? And how would he afford the cigarette he was smoking while sitting on a boulevard? Exactly. Think kiddies, think. whee heart
So no, he's not nessicarily homeless... 3nodding

Well technically, to be homeless means you just don't have a home. Gerard has more than enough money to own a house, but seeing as he was aware that he was going to be on tour for a long time, he chose not to purchase a home[YET], and for the few amounts of times that he wasn't on tour, he'd get a hotel room or crash at someones house [family, friends, etc]

Well, at Much Music in November, Gerard stated that he was homeless but was crashing at his Mom's house on her couch. Then he said he'd be moving into the same appartment as Mikey later. So if that's any consolation to people... lol Plus like someone else said...while on tour they all are technically homeless. He'll get his own place when he's good and ready. 3nodding lol I'm 20 and still living in my Mom's basement...only because i'm too poor to get an appartment though. gonk
Also lol that article was gold. lol I ******** heart Gerard man. I really do. He's deliciously evil but not really evil at all. Just like me.... twisted It's fantastic... cool

So he's not some homeless bum, he just hasn't bought his own house.
If he was homeless.... I think I'd quite an amount of honor for him. >_>

Yeah, it's bullshit. xD
-They called Gerard 'gothic'. Wtf? -They called MCR 'emo'. Totally off. xD Emo died in the 90's, morons... -They called the Used 'screamo' when they're just horrible xD
Freakin Bert McCrackalackin' is a b***h!
On Gerard’s journey from stage-fright-addled addict to world-beating frontman he has had two very different mentors. The first was Bert McCracken, the troubled singer for the Utah screamo band the Used. While touring together in 2003, Bert and Gerard became ferocious party buddies, wasting night after night draining hotel room minibars and bullshitting (a numbing existence eulogized to perfection on The Black Parade’s “The Sharpest Lives”). For a time, the two were inseparable — joining each other onstage, name-checking each other in lyrics and even collaborating on a charity cover of “Under Pressure.” But when Way cleaned up, the relationship soured and soon McCracken was trash-talking MCR. The last time Gerard saw McCracken was at the San Diego stop of the Warped Tour 2005. “It was really unfortunate,” says Way. “We were about to take the stage and he was standing with a megaphone trying to get kids not to watch us. We just hit the feedback and drowned him out.” (McCracken declined a request for comment.)
WTF BERT.
