Well. I was in a MCR mosh pit before. There was about one or two hundred people at the show. There wasn't really any hardcore dancing, although at bigger shows it's more likely(and it's likely Gerard'll yell at whoever's doing it) but like, there's a lot of jumping, you can't move at all, someone near you falls over you fall over, the crowd moves you move. Unless you're really stable, you're going to lose whoever you're there with. I was nowhere near where I started at at that show, and the only reason I was even close to my sister was because I yelled at whoever pushed me aray from her. I passed out three times, because of dehydration, please make sure you're VERY well hydrated, okay?

As far as I know, there are always giant pits, especially towards the end. Of course, I may be a tad biased since, as far as I can tell, I have this weird thing about me that makes pits form wherever I am, even though I'm not a mosher. Maybe people just hate me.
Although, I have to say, out of the last 3 shows I saw (excluding the last LAST one), MCR is probably the best. It's the only show I've been to where people care if you fall down just because they're nice like that, not because you've collapsed on their legs.

Yeah...if you fall down there's a 99% chance someone will grab you and yank you back up. If they pull you up at a Rancid concert then people will definitely do it at one of MCR's. But if you do go moshing, wear shoes that'll stay on your feet. My friend Jeff lost one of his shoes for almost an hour at a Reel Big Fish show! I fell and was down for two minutes at that show but I only got one bruise and lived to tell the tale 3nodding . But yeah...you should try it for a few minutes, and if you need to get out of there people will help you get out and to the side.

When I was in Pittsburg, I went to see AFI. The mosh pits were INTENSE. I got sucked into one and I started crying because I couldn't breathe. Luckily, most frontmen are caring enough to stop the show for the crowd, if someone is getting hurt. So Davey stopped the show, and I got out of there. But with MCR, it won't be that bad. Most of their fans are girls, who don't know how to mosh or dance. So don't worry about it. If you do get in trouble, I guarantee someone will help you.

I wouldn't mind info and encouragement also sweatdrop XD
I really really really wanna go to an MCR concert (*never has before* DX), but I get nervous when I think about the moshing. Lots of people have told me to just do it and gave me tips and such, but I have this thing with getting injured or something else dumb and embaressing (I'm really afraid). What is it like at the very front? I didn't think it would as dangerous...

What is it like at the very front? I didn't think it would as dangerous... Well...my first MCR concert is in March but I can tell you about the Reel Big Fish/Streetlight Manifest/ MXPX concert I went to. The Mosh Pit was located in the middle and that's obviously where most of the shoving and punchnig happened. If you go in the actual pit, I only suggest a few minutes at a time and make sure you wear shoes that stay on. Staying in too long can lead to many bruises and sore limbs...but it's so much fun shoving people around! If you fall, people would yank you back up. Okies...so everyone tries to get to the stage, so the front is really...compact I guess. If you're not careful you'll get caught between people and squished..it's kind of like having all of your organs squished out through your ears...and it's really hot. I was lucky enough to make two guy friends really quickly,. One stood behind me and the other stood in front of me and I held onto his shoulders. That way I had enough space to breath and if I fell down they pulled me back up right away. If you're desparate to get to the front front, nearest ot the stage, make sure to slam your way through there and grab onto the metal bar for dear life...and watch out for people crowd surfing or you'll get kicked in the head. It's a little painful, but soooo much fun. I hope that helped a little bit, moshing is not as bad as it sounds! Just go with the flow and you'll be fine 3nodding ! By the way...I love your siggy!!

I went to an MCR concert only 3 fights broke out but there is alot of security at the shows. The "gards" go after Crowd surfing, fighting, moshing and drunk people. And if you do fall down as Shura-Pendragon said someone will pull you back up. But what ever you do do not sit on the ground my friends and I had to keep yelling at this girl to get up. She didnt seem to understand that she could be crushed...

I'm going to my first My Chemical Romance concert on the 1st of April. I've never been to a really good concert like this in my life. The only exciting one I have been to is Avril Lavigne. stare
But still, I'm going to an utterly huge staduim, and I'm on the ground floor very close to the front row, if not the front row. I'm utterly excited about going....but I'm getting kinda worried. What if I got trapped in a Moshpit? What if I fall and get stood on? (I'm not that tall) What If I lose my sister and my friend's in this place?
I need reassurance.... sweatdrop

Last concert I was at was not an MCR concert. But a tip, DON'T FALL. like one person fell because, we were pushing people who were pushing us, and it took me like 1 whole song to get up. STUPID PEOPLE. They wouldn't help me, so my friend christina finally pulled me up. Never fall because it sucks we were up close and we moved back slightly haha
