Okay, yeah. Gwen Stefani, was once way cool back [way way back] when No Doubt didn't sellout to the whole mainstream thing. eh e__e;

So what are your thoughts of her?

Personally, I hate this whole hiphop thing she has going she's doing.
I can't stand it.
All the kids at my school are all, "I LOVE GWEN STEFANI!"
It pisses me off because, one. MORE THAN HALF didn't know she was from No Doubt, or that the band even existed.
And high high percent don't even know what ska is, and they were the harajuku girl shirts with checkerboard belts. x.x;
Seriously.. It makes me sad, she totally sold out just for more fans. V.v;
More FAKE fans + more crappy mtv music videos + expensive clothes = no respect. Dx

see that would be the perfect utopia if it could be achieved, but as we have seen with many bands and artists that used to be what we classify as "good" and have fallen from grace with us, they fall from our graces because money talks... and because money talks, people get greedy. Personally I don't htink she does it anymore for the music, just the fan base that she has and how much they pay for her stuff... but thats just a personal opinion.

I like Gwen Stefani, not as much as I like No Doubt, but her new stuff, though I always think 'that's s**t' at first, I come to like it. Plus, she is very pretty, and I like Japanese street style, her Harajuku girls were cute.

No Doubt was Ska at the start, and No Doubt helped get her famous. Then she ditched it for hip-hop, and grabbed 4 japanese girls, dresses them up, and she thinks that's cool?
