Predict how Nana will end [spoilers]

I've only seen the anime, but I accidentally spoiled myself so I bascially know the jist of what has happened in the manga stressed

So how do you think Nana will end?

I think it will end with Hachi and Nana O. reuniting somehow...

I'm hoping they reunite. Yazawa-san is an ace when it comes to angst and me sitting at the edge of my seat, fidgeting and moping because two good friends got seperated and one boyfriend I liked cheated and *goes on and on*

but if the ending isn't happy v_v I'll be really really sad.

I'm hoping Nana and Hachiko reunite. I'm hoping Nobu fights for Hachi (which I THINK he is PLANNING on doing) and I hope Takumi trips onstage, falls on his face and gets laughed at for episodes to come. *nod*

I'm sorry v.v I know he's falling for Hachi, but I'm a Nobu-for-life person *peace sign* Nobu, gambari!!!

Yes, I REALLY hope that Hachi leaves Takumi for Nobu...it seems the majority of Nana fans are NobuxHachi fans, so maybe it will work out...

Otherwise, I also think that Nana O will die (maybe O.D. or get in an accident). I just hope Hachi gets to meet her one last time before she dies.

Well, older Shin brought Hachi pictures of Nana singing under a different guise... so I think Nana will still be alive.
I think Hachi will leave Takumi.
Maybe Ren will commit suicide, or run off with Reira? Perhaps the reason Nana left is something between Ren and Reira, maybe even the pictures?
Ren is also doing drugs... <.< >.>
I hope Nobu stays happy with the porn star.

Spoilerific this will be, but yes, Nana is indeed still alive in the present (cos the story we're following takes place in the past--Hachi always uses past tense). She just couldn't cope with whatever happened to her and ended up running away overseas, leaving everyone to think she was dead.

As for Ren, he doesn't OD or anything and he's still alive... don't know what sort of condition he is in but alive he is (Yasu talks about him showing up to the fireworks in one of the "flash-forward" chapters). I don't know what happens to Nana and Ren, but the way Hachi words it, there seems to be some sort of hope between them (she says that every Christmas she prays that Ren and Nana can meet each other again).

Ha... according to the last manga... she really love him, at least! Enough to obviously point out that her and Ren's relationship is completely friendly.

i think from the beginning, there was always something he had for Hachi...
at least up until Satsuki ( their daughter ) is about 4-5 years old, they're still married and he comes home to their condo.

I think Ren and Nana should but probably won't end up back together. As for Hachi I think she'll end up staying with Takumi. :/

I think that Hachi'll probably leave Takumi, but knowing Yazawa-sensei... probably not back with Nobu. As for Nana, she'll probably break up with Ren again. Maybe Yasu will come into the picture some how. Does anyone else get that picture?

There still seems to be something between them in the present, anyway... During the fireworks festival, she draws his bath and he grabs her hand (one with a very prominent wedding ring still attached) when she notices how dispirited she gets when Nana is mentioned. Hachi gets this... look on her face. I cannot say what that "look" is exactly--longing? sadness? pity that Nobu might still be pining for her while she has "moved on"?

As for Ren and Nana, even with the little htread of hope that Hachi gives the readers (about her praying that the two of them can meet again), I get this nasty feeling that they won't get back together as a couple. Maybe patch something up but no longer be a romantic pair. And that makes Asa cry cos Ren x Nana is her OTP. emo
