"I have so much to say I don't even know where to begin." Takes a deep breathe. "This first comment goes out to all of the fans. I don't mean it in a cruel way I mean it in the so called 'true fans'. So I was talking with some guys in Hot Topic today. Kevin, a good guy said that he never really liked My Chemical Romance's other albums, then when they came out with the 'Black Parade', he really found It a really good album. Chris on the other hand has been a die hard fan since Bullets. I joined the My Chem band-wagon on 'Three Cheers'. Well Kevin in Chris started getting in an arguement over who was the better fan. Chris was saying that Kevin shouldn't like them for that one cd. Kevin was saying that it was the only cd that appealed to him. I was stuck in the middle with chris also mad at me because I'm a fan who even know who My Chem was until 'Helena' like so many others."
"This may not abpply to all of you fans. My Chemical Romance is a beautiful band, that shares a part of themselves to us by being a band. If we all like the same band why are we fighting about it. People, don't get upset with newer fans because they like 'The Black Parade'. Embrace them. Share with them the other cds. Be kind because they aren't dissing this band they are agreeing with you that their cool."
"In simple terms guys love eachother. I'm sick of hearing people say that the people who like 'The Black Parade' aren't fans. Everyone finds out about a band because of a song. 'Welcome to the Black Parade' is just bringing in more fans. Don't say 'eww' or 'gross' at the sound of the new cd. My Chemical Romance made it. If your going to say 'eww' and complain about how it doesn't sound like them then please discredit yourself as a fan"
"I don't want to come off as some itch with a b. My Chemical Romance came to me in a time of chance. I had just lost my aunt and I was in a zone of my own. I had lost someone so precious to me. My memories of a child an growing up with her kept showing up. When I turned on the t.v 'Helena' had just come on and that song got me through everything dealing with my aunt. I cried when I finally got the cd, because I felt that the band had gone through what I was going through, and they did."
"I know that slightly off topic but understand. Some people come to My Chem fanship later on because it's the right time. I can honestly say that My Chem saved my life from so much misery. Wheter the person just like the song , or they felt bonded as if by fate. Don't hate."

I had heard all of that b4 on their site... But its nice that some1 got all of the voice messages together... Gerard looks so cute as a Pirate!!! whee pirate And I SWEAR I heard Gee saying "I just wanna spank you guys so much" instead of thank eek That. Was. Creepy. xd

I don't think you're less a fan if you've only liked them recently.
As long as you aren't a teeny who's only heard Welcome and thinks Gerard is a Hottie cause he played on MTV last night.
eh, yes.
I started liking Tegan and Sara because of their newer album.
That doesn't make me worse than others.

Thats grand, really. I thought I may have been the only one.
Well, my opinion comes next, yes?
Okay, Well, I agree on the whole, "Let them be fans" thing. Coz we all had to start somewhere yes?
Well, I dont agree on the, "(Don't) complain about how it doesn't sound like them... (or just) discredit yourself as a fan"
Coz, thats just well, I think silly really.
I don't find the new cd all appealing, but thats how I see it.
I think that if a band is gathering fans by just sticking to what they have WHICH IS FECKING AWESOME, then why change?
I don't hate the change, go ahead, I love em for giving it a go and succeeding by the sounds of things. Nothing better than a new look at music.
I just DON'T like the album that much.
But I LOVE the other two albums,
Listening to them brings me so many good memorys,
Some bad sure,
But they mean THE WORLD TO ME.
So, you're saying... That because I don't like TBP that much, that I only like 2 songs from it and I'm not comfortable with this new thing MCR are doing, that I should totally forget being a fan, coz I'm a fake.
Hmmm...

Thank buddha, I came here thinking this was gonna be about the new fans and how they suck or something. I'm so sick of hearing fans complain (from any band) that the newer fans aren't real true fans and whatnot. As long as the person in question likes a band for their songs and not just for the pretty faces or how "cool" they'd seem if they were a fan, I'm fine with it. More the merrier! 3nodding

wow, thats so awesome, and true, go paine!!! I got the 1st album long after it came out, but thats when i liked them, but regardless i would call myself a true fan, anyways i dont think u should be kicked out, and i dont see why you would for showing your opinion, they dont call it freedom of speech for nothing! well good job for making a stand and i hope u dont get kicked out! if u do then u cant reply, but if u dont then keep on rocking!

i think that if you say you like them because of one cd, that's fine. But what they really should say is i like their cd "--" whatever it may be. or if they like all but one cd, then fine, be that way, you don't have to step down fom fandom, just mention that you may not like them as much as you had previously. and newbies are definately welcome so long as they truly like what they're hearing. i know i only came on to mcr when i first saw the "trailer" for I'm Not Okay (I Promise) and that shouldn't make anyone more or less of a fan. we are all equal here as humans so why should we fight over equality in what/who we like? If you're fighting over it then (the way i see it) you may not be "fan" enough and have to constantly tell yourself you are. and that's fine if you keep humble and quiet about it. those "I'm the #1 fan" kids surely do not realize that you can't be a #1 fan, to be a fan you should like the music/band, and embrace all other fans as at least romotely similar as you. Like i said, we are all only human (well, those that aren't vampires anyways xd ) and we can only love as much as the other guy.
