Progressive metal (ex: Queensryche)
Goth rock (ex: Joy Division)
Progressive rock (ex: Pink Floyd)
Metalcore (ex: Bleeding Through)
Heavy metal (ex: Judas Priest)

my favorites would be:
Goth Rock even though i only know a few bands sweatdrop
Metal and all its sub genres, except Speed Metal i like the least
Industrial Rock
Techno/Electronica

I listen to a lot of gothic, darkwave, classic rock, j-rock, j-pop, k-pop, synthpop, classical, as well as the traditional music of many different cultures. I have rather ecclectic tastes, but a majority of the music I listen to falls under those categories.

hmmm...... black electro huh? I've never heard that one *lives in America* , but I do like the sound of it....

"Schwarz-elektronik" is just a German slang term used for the genre darkwave.

Not sure what my favorite would be, but I do like crusty punk(Amebix and Leftover Crack), death metal(Death and Sadus), death rock(Christian Death and Cinema Strange), goth rock(Joy Division and Siouxsie and the Banshees) and grunge(Mudhoney-esque bands mostly). Oh and whatever genre the Velvet Underground and Iggy Pop and the Stooges fall under.
non-rock related would be Tarentella music, Erik Satie, Akina Arai, Vivaldi, Chopin, Tupac, the Pharcyde, and yeah..
