OMFG, I went to school today, and a girl came up to me. Heres how the conversation went.
Idiot girl - "Hey, you're that Chemical Romancing fan right?"
Me - "No."
Idiot girl - "But my friends said you're like, an emo and they're like your favorite band."
Me - "Well, I have a favorite band, their name is My Chemical Romance.
Idiot girl - "Thats what I said."
Me - "No you didn't. You said Chemical Romancing, I haven't a fecking clue who they are, but if you find a band called that, chuck me their myspace."
Idiot girl stands dumbfounded
Idiot girl - "Hahaha, you're so funny!"
I stare at her with utter amusement
Idiot girl - "ANYWAY, well like, I heard their song on the radio, like that 'Welcome To The Parade'"-
Me interrupts - "Welcome To The Black Parade?"
Idiot girl - "Ya, thats like, what I said.... ANYWAY, like OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG (Etc.) They sound like HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!"
Me looks dumbfounded - "Are you some kind of retard?"
Idiot girl - "Noooooo silly!" Giggles at pitches so high they are unknown to man.
Me - "Well I'm gonna go now, I need to find something sharp in which to pierce my ear drums from your incessant giggling and stupid talk."
Idiot girl - Stares at me like I've just slapped her and walks off in a huff
TELL me this High School Musical thing isn't TRUE??! Is there something that the public hears that my brain is blocking out?!?
A touching song between two crushing teenagers perhaps???
