This is one of my favorite mangas in the world. You Higuri's artwork is absolutely amazing. Just the clothes are fabulous. Has anyone read it? What do you think?

I was interested in this title. I was about to pick it up at the book store, but I was hesitant. Skipping through, it certainly SEEMED like there was quite a bit of slashiness to it, but I wanted to know for sure...
Is there ANYONE here that can confirm or deny the presense of boys screwing in Cantarella? D:

Cesare is deeply in love with his rescuer, Chiaro, so YEAH it's dripping with BL. All about urequited passion, with kisses stolen in the night and an annoying sister who gets in the way. There's a sexy guy who dies by licking Cesare's poisoned blood. They're all kids in the first book, but by the second book they're grown up and are deep in sexual angst. Though the first book does have that attempted rape scene... 4laugh Plus they're running a contest where you can swear your devoted love to one of the guys in the story and win some original art from the artist. I read till volume 6 and i really love it so far!!!!^^ You Higuri is amazing i love her work 4laugh
Yeah its pretty obvious Cesare is in love with Chiaro heart The only thing that gets on my nerves is the sister scream Argg i hate her >.< She's ruining everything!!! And of course *spoiler alert* Chiaro HAD to fall in love with her....and because of that Cesare is turning into a real monster gonk *end*
Anyway hopes it gets better in later volumes!!! And i hope that You Higuri is going to continue it cause on her site she says she wants to finish another manga before >.< Grrrrr

Whether or not it's a BL manga I still loved it. Sure I picked it up because I thought it was one only to find that I'm not sure if it is or not. It gets boring from time to time but mostly it's packed with action, deceit even incest.
You Higuri's art is amazing in whatever series she does. She's a frikkin geneous.

I just bought this series and have been throughly enjoying it. However, I don't see any of the romance in it as "cannon" as of yet. Mainly all I see are slash possibilities. Granted I have only read the first two volumes, but still... I mean I am one of the biggest BL fans on the planet, but I actually don't think You Higuri intended this to be BL too much. I could be wrong and in later chapters there is something, but I don't see it now.
However, because there are logical slash possibilities it does REALLY make me want to write Cantarella fanficion. Especially fanfiction between Cesare and Chiaro. They would be so adorable together...
