Actually.......
I like Big and Rich. But they're more off the beaten path of Country. I guess that's why I like them. Other than that, there aren't many Country bands I like. I might end up digging one song but that's it.
However, I do like Bluegrass. Cuz Banjos sound cool if they're played right.

I don't like country and never liked it either - even though I was participating in country line dance till 3 months ago.
I was raised with classical music - I hate the most of it but there are some nice pieces
But the music I truly hate is rap and hiphop to be honest - there is too much of it here in the netherlands. You hear it all day. It makes me sick - No offence burning_eyes
The one thing i just love is - James Blunt heart

I have honestly sat down and tried listening to it, but I could never quite swallow it. The guitars and vocals never struck the right chord with me (pun intended). The sound has never appealed to me.
What rap I do listen to is very little. I own Eminem's The Eminem Show, because I like most of the tracks on it, and I have three Cypress Hill songs I listen to. That's about as far into that genre as I go.

I like some country now and then. But then again, I don't ever stick to one genre. Heck, I even enjoy rap sometimes, but only in the dressing room before hockey practices and games.

I fail at enjoying country, largely because the lyrics are usually so bad.

I don't go for country much, but I really like a lot of Nanci Griffith's stuff. "The Great Divide" is a beautiful song... and sort of gothy, really.
The finest hour I have seen is the one that comes between the edge of night and the break of day it's when the darkness rolls away...
