The cool thing is that they are able to get REAL ST people to work and act in it. Really cool for those that are having a hard time not being able to see a "new" episode of something Star Trek. There are other "fan-based episodes, but none are really close to New Voyages.

I think that the whole idea is intriguing and I plan on watching some of the episodes when I get a chance.

If you go to the links you will find other "fan-based" episode sites, like Hidden Frontier. HF has a lot of content, however, the quality of the episodes are not very good. Everything is blue-screened.
