Star Trek-is it going to dissapear???

Iam quite scared that in 10 or so years there wont be any more star trek...
what will i watch instead of star trek as my sci-fi show?

Do any of you guys think star trek will dissapear?

Will this be the remains of a long forgotten series 10 years from now???

In ten years, we might not have to watch Star Trek. It might be the reality. I guess that's just wishing thinking though. I don't think it'll disappear, it's much too popular.

When TOS was taken off the air after having its life surprisingly extended another season, the producers expected that the show would die and the fans would lose interest. They were wrong. Star Trek fandom gaining more fans every year. has grown ever since, and still the nay-sayers predict that surely it can't last.

It will last, and will still be around for a long time, even if only in re-runs.

Star Trek die?!? Even if no new series and movies come out, there will comic books, books, fan series coming out for decades to come. Star Trek is simply to big of a franchise to just die.

i really hope that it wont diappear but the fantastic and horrible failure that enterprise was, it doesnt look good. I want something as awesome as DS9 (after season 2) and TNG (after season 2)... because the connection in the entire serise of ds9 was beautiful and tng is tng man... >_< enju want good startrek now!!!!

I don't share you guys love of Klingons and I actually think that Enterprise was a good series. in Fact its one of my favs. I think that if they are going to try a new series they should research it and develope it instead of trying to rush it out. Maybe pool viewers and give the ppl what they want.

But then they'd have to get a Picard replacement, and everybody would hate that.
I don't think they can use any existing characters without people hating it.
