I was just listening to "Changes" and thought, lyke, omgwtflolz, why isn't there a david bowie thread? heart blaugh
He rocks. I know he's not technically "goth", but was certainly a contributor to the movement nonetheless! mrgreen
My favourite songs (In order of favouriteness):
Wild is the wind Starman Ziggy Stardust Changes As the World Falls Down (from "Labyrinth") 3nodding Space Oddity
Those would have to be my top favourite songs... but I'm sure I'm forgetting some! heart heart heart

I loved "The Ballad of Ziggy Stardust", but very little of his other work impressed me.

David Bowie is seriously an awesome muscician.
All his music is different; therefore, you can't pigeonhole him into a certain genre. He's so dynamic.
I cannot even begin to pick a favourite song by him.
It hurts my head to try.

I love Bowie. There are so many of his songs that I like. Of the albums that I own by him I have to say 01. Outside, Reality, Ziggy Stardust and Black Tie White Noise are my favorites.

I must say that I adore David Bowie. His performance in "Labyrinth" was phenomenol. I love the soundtrack. In fact, just the other day I was at a friend's house, and we were looking through her mom's old records (yes, records, they have awesome sound quality), and I inroduced my dear friend to the magic that is David Bowie. If he wasn't old, I'd marry him.

"Heroes" and "All The Young Dudes" (done with Queen) are some other really good songs by him. David Bowie is really talented.
I have trouble saying his last name though, lol. My friends will taunt me if I say it wrong, so I just call him "David B". I think about saying it right so much I say it wrong anyway. ><
