This link is a missed events catcher. It's not a glitch or a scam, it's posted by the Admin in the depths of a forum sticky somewhere.

It gives you the chance to retrieve any rares that you may have missed, through a page not loading, or the site crashing, or you just having blinked at the wrong moment and missed it cool

When you click it, it will take you to the front page. This is neither here nor there, it has no relevance. Once the page has loaded, go check your inventory, you may find a nice suprise therein 3nodding

I've gotten brown giftboxes twice on my mule using that link, who never posts in guilds.

Rumor has it you don't get events in guilds, but I've never had this confirmed.

yes they are but..

whatever produces the visuals for the rare events is broken, and the only way to collect on any event that you get is through this link.
