Ok i have an idea of a manga and im wanting to b unique. Nothing based off of naruto, inuyasha, ect.

ok i'll tell u main char

Name: Ryu Sakara

Gender: female (i kno the name is male based but there is a reason)
race: half breed wolf demon
age confused ??unknown but physically looks twenty.
basic clothes: a short black kimono with a design of a dragon in red w/ vines surrounding it decorated w/white roses
weapon: a katana with an embedded jewel on the hilt.
Weaknesses: children mostly is her main weakness. physically speaking she isn't very strong.

Strengths: her speed makes up for her strength. Her reflexes are quick and refined. How she fights is swiftly but softly.

Past:An unknown competition had started a few centuries ago to see who was the strongest fighter. The fight had escalated into something more. All were after the three peices that make up the sword known as the kon-Karite. With this sword they can take or save lives. Some say it is a key to something more. Some say that with this sword can choose the worlds fate on the day of the apoclypse.But no one could find these parts. so the sword faded into legend. 10000 centuries later....it is nothing more than a bed time story.
I won't reveal the whole story but in a short summary, they decided to do a competition on the story by creating fake parts. the first "Real" one is found. Thats when things get good.

Sounds interesting, but if she is a WOLF demon, then why does her name mean dragon?

The hard thing about making something unique is that a lot of ideas have already been done in some aspect. Let's take demons and swords with strange powers, for instance. blaugh I'm not trying to rain on your parade, if it seemed like that was what I was doing.
So far it sounds pretty interesting though, too bad you won't tell us more. blaugh

I'm assuming that it's a manga you're making? ninja Sounds intereasting for a start,but don't forget the comedy,no manga is good without comedy,without it,it's just a boring romance/violent/etc. book.
