Anybody remember this thread from the old Anime Garden? I've ressurected it, only this time it's not just for drama, rants and depression anymore. I figure this thread just might be our equivalent of the Random Chat threads of previous guilds. It does me an honor to be the one to start it up. ^_^ Alright, post away!

I have no special rules, but try to keep the illiterate posts and bumps in the Spam section; I'm sure that's what it's for.

Alright, new game plan. I have an idea that concerns the direction of this thread.

Well, we ARE Anime Garden.

I think we should set aside a subforum for all anime/manga related discussions. The main forum has become crowded, with very few anime posts, and the guild has anime in the title to begin with, so...

I, for one, am guilty as charged in that aspect. I pride myself on liking anime probably the least of anybody I can think of off the top of my head. It's a wonder why I'm even here at all.

Well, here's an idea of mine. I, being one of a few who believes anime to be overrated, fully support Sangome's idea of a separate anime sub-forum. As part of the movement, I've converted this thread to be strictly general stuff. Anime-related discussions, while they will be tolerated, should be in the anime subforum first and foremost when there is one.

Really now? I should check them out. I was talking about the huge amounts on Gaia...

...but then again, the "Guys Smack the Hott Girl!" ones aren't too good either -- not that I've been there of course.

I typically go on there with my friend and we make obscene boards together. I have a screenies page. E-Thrust.

Haha. Wow. Oh well. We were all stupid at that age. I'm sure that in three years, we'll think that we were considerably stupid at our current ages, as well.
Two years ago when we all met, I was an aspiring otaku and elitist indie kid. Now I'm a B-Movie fanatic and I have a penchant for listening to immensely dark, brooding music, and I haven't touched a manga in ages.

I can attest to that. Way back when, I was a borderline-emo who loved to moan and complain (and certain verbs that Lurker would warn me for using) about things, and everybody told me to sit down, shut the hell up and deal with it. And deal with it I did. Now I'm a much happier person who enjoys writing, motorsports and Internet forums.
