Everyone in the rude and Skin scene knows of the close ties between the rudis and the skins. The question is, with so many "Where are you rudis/show your rudeness" threads, I was wondering where are all the skins at?

also, I wikipedia's Skinheads for link reference in th GD, and then Rude biy. They said that Rancid's Red Hot Moon had a Rude Boy in it. It does, but I thought "How the ******** did they find a Rude Boy to be in that video? Did they just get a guy to dres up like one?"

So yeah. Dual topic.

People really do get a bad impressions of Skins.
I've done every research paper this year on the Skinhead lifestyle.
People just automatically think Skins=racist
Yet, they don't know about S.H.A.R.P and A.R.A
Kind of sad
I even phone interviewed a traditional skinhead from Britain and got him to tell me everything he knows about it

Yeah, back in London in the 1970s skinheads were a whole different story to Neo Nazis. There were a lot of black skinheads. Then the National Front decided it would be a good idea to try to appeal to the skins' sense of patriotism. Unfortunately, a lot of the younger skins bought it.

Actually skinheads back in England were still racist, just against pakistani immigrants though. They like jamaican's but didn't like the "paki's" who were taking their jobs. There have always been racist skinheads. But it wasn't until the English Front recruited people that youth became skinheads, not for working class pride, but for racism.

You can be a racist and still be a traditional skinhead, it's only when you become a skinhead because you are racist that you are a nazi.

Not all of them. It's easy to generalise. Asians have always been a tricky subject as far as race relations go.
