I don't know how many Geezers are crafty, and I prolly should have posted these before Easter, but I just had to show off my silk "tie-dyed" eggs!
Here's how according to Martha!
(Thanks for indulging me. biggrin )

Those are pretty cool looking. biggrin I love martha stewart!
I used to be kinda crafty, and I'm looking forward to Hopefully getting a house and having room for stuff like that. My grandmother and my mom used to christmas ornaments and they taught me...so packed away have old fabric scraps and costume jewelry and the like for that.

We've owned our house for a little over a year. It sucks in our money and time ... and it's so worth it! One day I even hope to be entirely unpacked! lol

My interests are a bit bigger... but they feel more like crafts than home improvement. This is the kitchen shortly after we moved in to the house, I painted the cabinets and the walls, the walls were white and the cabinets were dark brown. This is where I am at now... I still have one old cabinet to take down and some more electrical to move. I added a dishwasher and an island. I should be done sometime this summer if all goes well finacially. Sorry the pictures are so big sad

Wow! That's a lot of work!
We're only now getting the point where we're trying to decide what the paint the walls.

My next step will be to see if we can actually move the light switch for the kitchen... the switch is in the far corner under the cabinets... Most normal houses have a light switch as you come into a room.. our kitchen you have to go threw the kitchen in the dark and feel along the wall to find the switch. After that is done we will finish with the wall cabinets and then finish putting tile on the walls. The walls had 2 layers of sheet rock, we have to remove one layer to have the cabinets fit right.

I love the slippers... make them by the ton and offer them for sale to Gaians threw Ebay (make a thread with a link to your goods)... great way to make a little cash on the side.
I love the skeletons on your wall... for halloween or year round?

Ohh, the eggs are so cool. I'm into all things crafty, knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery etc. I tend to have lots of half finished projects hanging around though, so it's actually quite an achievement for me to ever finish one smile

My relatives did make me hunt for eggs this year though.
I'm 21. sweatdrop
Oh, and those slippers are so great!!! I wish I knew how to knit and crochet. I tried to teach myself and I could only make the tiniest little strip of nothing. xd ^_^;
