I'm slightly confused as to what we're allowed to post here.
When I applied to join, I imagined that this was a place for Brits to hang out and stuff. Now I see that almost every topic has something to do with Britain.
Basically, I'm trying to find out if we can just post.. any old nonsense, and talk with and get to know other Brits, or if the topics must strictly involve Britain?

'course, stick an introduction in the sticky and people will doubtless turn up and start chatting.
The threads do look quite strictly British...but really it's just a bit of a running theme from when we only had about ten threads. Most of them starting "Great British -something-". They all wander on and off topics very freely though!
Oh, and if you're feeling brave or foolhardy, the yoghurt subforum has no rules at all. Though a token mention of yoghurt would be perfect.

Or indeed, a token act of yoghurt apprectiation
A token act of yoghurt submission is best, though.

I like your signature.
And to attempt to be on topic (or even slightly related to whats been said before) Beware the yoghurt subforum. *does spooky hand gestures* Actually maybe just ignore that.

Greenzally I'm slightly confused as to what we're allowed to post here. I am not entirely convinced we have rules as such - since Invi and I have oft been accused of "hijacking" threads and sending them off on weird tangents...But yes, as others have mentioned, the yoghurt thread has just the right blend of the bizarre, dancing merrily along the fine line dividing genius and lunacy stuff which might appeal...

I don't feel we use the word 'widget' enough in general conversation.
And when was the last time anyone had a good lurk?

I just saw a lurking widget eating yoghurt. Quite bizarre actually.

dExtrosien I just saw a lurking widget eating yoghurt. Quite bizarre actually. Gosh, I am sure that must have come as quite a shock! Question is, would it not be better to mention such things in white text, so as not to upset those of delicate sensibilities?
