some one told me that cradle of filth were posers crying .i think that only posers call other people posers but any hooo....do you think they are goth or some other kinda music???

I don't really ever call anyone poseurs. But I can see where people would get the idea that CoF are poseurs. They can come off as though they are trying too hard sometimes. But that doesn't change the fact that I like them.
They dont' fit the goth genre though. They are metal. Symphonic black metal to be precise, but they are strongly influenced by gothic metal.

I sometimes agree that COF trys a bit too hard sometimes but hey, when living the life of a rock star, s**t gets outta hand i guess
I used to fall asleep to CoF just so i could have nightmares

Almost everyone in the this world is a poser.
A poser is a person who copies the image of another to fit in.
There isn't much in this world that hasn't been copied.
Besides, even if CoF are posers, which I have no feeling towards that ever being true, I still like them.
It's all in the eye of the beholder to determine what is it they like.
Anyone who follows others blindly and absolutely, well, they just need to be shot.

The people in the band can be posers but Cradle of flith isn't gothic music.
