Now *this* managed to slip entirely under my radar last month - what a rotten press release it must have been - but now I know about it, it has me dancing with joy.

CRUMBS CHIEF! FREMANTLEMEDIA CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF DANGERMOUSE WITH ANNIVERSARY DVD

Targeted at 25-35-year-olds who grew up with the popular TV show as well as children, the DVDs will, for the very first time, include every episode of DangerMouse ever produced together with a host of exciting and new special features. Fans of the show will be able to purchase the set, which comprises 12 DVDs, as part of a complete box set or individually at specialists such as HMV and Virgin, generalists such as Woolworths and WHSmith, supermarkets and via online retailers including www.amazon.co.uk and www.play.com from September.

To celebrate, FHE will also release special DVD box sets for Cosgrove Hall titles The Wind In The Willows, Chorlton and The Wheelies and Count Duckula.

Well, my Duckula R1 purchase wasn't a waste of money then - they haven't yet released anything I don't already have. I really hope they might possibly release seasons 2 & 3 as well. My old videos are getting very well worn and may not last....

I might have known Cosgrove Hall were planning DM celebrations - that must be why they haven't released any boxsets over here before. There I was thinking they'd sold us out to our American cousins. I will know in future: always trust Cosgrove Hall!!

Meanwhile, I'll go back to my enjoyment of DangerMouse seasons 3 & 4. At least I don't have to wait for *that* biggrin biggrin
