"Whoa." Lorcan popped his head above the water's surface with his mouth opened, his soft glowly eyes darting around at the status as he treaded in a pool. So this was the place his parents came to celebrate their love, and where his sister was last year...Wait, she mentioned snow. Either way this place was GRAND. Not as grand as the palace sure but he didn't know that the beings on the land could even think about matching the palace was impressive to him. Were all the land town things like this place? Did they all have these 'hotels' and big status? The surface dwellers were weird.

Lorcan was swimming backwards as he gawked and felt his back and wings bump into something. The wall? The wall was oddly...Squishy. He slowly turned around and found himself face to...Black chest? Oh water spirits. He yelped and stumbled backwards. Impressively backwards. So backwards he ended up doing a summersault. Lorcan steadied himself and then sheepishly poked half of his face out of the water again, his face flushed with embarrassment. "S-sorry about that madam. I didn't see you there."


Adelio's pale blue eyes glanced over to to his sister then rolled to the other side as he looked off at nothing for a moment before finally focusing and finally looking at everything. "It's something dear sister. I honestly don't understand your curiously. None of these-" He waved his hand out at a group of party goers "will matter once we crush them beneath our claws...But we are here to explore you're curiosity now aren't we? Maybe we should pick out rooms we want when we rule the island? Or look for those who would be amazing slaves or have delicious hearts." The stories his parents would tell about how mouth watering those hearts were. He HAD to try one. "I don't even see any other Rak teens." He grumped. His mother was right, this island was trash. "Well, what would you like to do first Xenais?"

Sol rubbed his sparkly little nose when no one else was looking his way, at least he hoped no one was. A sneeze up just on the edge of his...his.... nose tongue. "Ahh..." he stifled sharply feeling the burning sensation through his sinuses following by a pickling pain. Why today of all day? Wa sit the perfume he smelled in places or were the trees just out to get him again? grrrr. Try to go to a party and have some some and allergies decided it was a great time to follow.

The starry colored Pae held his wings in tight against his back and moved toward the tables with food, casting a few surprised glanced now and then but kept his mouth shut as he filled a small plate.

Sonorilla spent a decent amount of time preening her feathers and making sure everything was quite right, less they reflect poorly on the orphanage they were raised in and the deity that'd so graciously provided it to them. He and his family would naturally be here, so they'd do their part to look their best.

She only stopped once her hair was pulled back, small pearl-like berries woven into braids and throughout, and a just a sprinkling of perfume dotted her skin. Not her feathers, of course - those needed to stay ready for flight. She then looked over at her sister with an approving nod before they returned to the main hall, slowly but surely filling up with others. Daemon, faun, naiad, and even little naga of all shapes and sizes - it kind of reminded her of home... if home was so extra.

She was looking to enjoy herself tonight in a variety of ways, so her eyes were set seeking out an attractive male to approach - though she'd have no issue being approached instead. That'd actually be preferable.



Eniko rolled her eyes as he tried to charm her. "Perhaps my adornments, but the hair's definitely much."

She smiled as she took the wine and then glanced down as she swirled it in the glass, noting how the liquid stuck and ran to get an idea for the quality... which seemed to be high, as expected of Venus. Their own fields had her daughter's blessings, so of course it'd be a brilliant vintage. She raised it up.

"To adventure."

She then sniffed it - sweet, but floral - and took a sip. The flavor was undoubtedly full and rich, and there was just something that set it apart from their own bottles, but still...

"It's good... but not quite like home."

Abilene slithered through the massive hall, avoiding the larger pae's legs with flourish and passion. "My word, don't anyone watch where they're going?" he huffed while tossing a dirty glare at someone.

He needed a drink and hunk to give it to him. But first he needed to get above this crowd. He fluffed his hair and looked around. Spotting one of the tables by the stairs with a pole installed, his eyes lit up. "Well, if they're gonna have strippers, i wanna be right there with them." he said with a mischievous grin.

Off he set toward the table, one slither at a time. It wasn't until he got there that he noticed some birds of prey , judging by the colors of red and blue on display in their magnificent feathers, standing in his way. Well, you don't look a gift from gods hoarse in the mouth.

"Excuse me, miss?"he asked, his southern twang amplified by his politeness. He tapped an clearly beautiful blue bird on the knees.

Kasmai sipped his wine and nodded to Eniko's assessment. He wasn't as much of a wine snob as his father, but like anyone who'd grown up in Koehaira he knew how to tell good ones from poor ones. "Of course, you'd expect that with, y'know," he gestured broadly around them.

He looked around as they enjoyed their glass together. "Certainly get all types here..." he noted, taking in the wide variety of pae. "Apparently I need to get out more," he said. Some of these features he'd never even seen before. Tiny snakes? Cat tails? Feathered naiad? The mind boggled.

Turning back to Eniko, he inquired, "What shall we do after we finish our wine? D'you fancy a dance?" He was glad he'd asked her to come. This was all much more fun with a friend.

Azure had strongly encouraged Eruza to take a break from his work collecting stones and assisting Azure by attending this so called Venus Day event. There had of course been warnings about some of the mishap that had happened in the several events that Azure had personally attended. However, Eruza was fully capable of handling himself, besides he was in need of excitement, and no one needed to ask Eruza twice to take a break from work.


As he entered the venue, he quickly took note of his surroundings, developing plans within his mind in case there was need of them. Eruza noticed the overlook on the second floor and imagined this to be the perfect place to perch himself to observe his fellow partygoers before he sought out a companion or two... or three...for the evening. He smoothly glided up the stairs and leaned on one of the railings as his eyes gazed upon the crowd below.

Rubena touched her sister's arm as they entered the hall. "I'm going to get some wine," she said, carefully stepping over a vile little snake as she headed toward the wine fountain. After she procured herself a drink, she cast her gaze about for someone to approach.

A blonde male with skin like the darkened heavens caught her eye. Rubena filled another wine glass, smiled, and slowly walked over to him.

"Care for a drink?" she asked, offering the glass to him.

It had been a long time since Datum had attended one of these shindigs. He vaguely remembered meeting one of the most intriguing individuals here, but recalled little more than that, perhaps he had too much to drink that night. It seemed to him that these sorts of gatherings drew in the most interesting crowds and that he might want to go again, despite the hassle it was to travel on land. Warn out from his travels, Datum quickly made his way to the fountains. He breathed a raspy sigh of relief as he melted into the pool and flicked his long tail out of the water to drape over the side of the fountain. Hopefully no one would trip on his tail, but he wasn't overly concerned about his potential hazard to the land pae.

There was a distinct slapping sound as O'reo moved across the floor, his many legs smacking the freshly polished floors as he went. He mumbled incoherently to himself as he went. Or at least it might seem incoherent to the regular pae, another tikicat might have made sense of the mumbling that was mostly going on repetitively about food, promised food because Venus was quite famous amongst tiki kind for her lavish feast. Word had reached this strange tikicat, and he was quite excited to hang up his fishing pole for the day to partake in such indulgent food like the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches he had heard all about.

He could sniff his way out to the food table easy enough, but was quite disappointed to find out that the displays had been set up for... taller pae... and he found himself staring at the edge of the table. His tikicat brethren might have been able to jump up and down and get a better look, but O'reo had no such jumping abilities due to the lack of bones in the lower half of his body. He frowned, although hidden behind his mask, and one of his tentacles slapped against the floor in annoyance.

Cathulu skittered across the floor on all fours, his trusty stick held by the tentacles on his head, his tentacle tail wiggling about and upright. His nose wriggled behind his mask and very vocal grunts and garbles could be heard coming from him as he zoomed beneath pae's feet, hair tentas coping feels as he went, followed by maddened cackles.

He paused only when he saw another tentacled Tiki cat, eyeing the others situation and obvious frustration. Tilting his head, Cathulu went over and bapped him on the shoulder repeatedly, pointing to him and then the table. "Mmmaaak. Ahhbitsil...mgarggrrbllsquikkhammmmrrreekbleefissfhssh?" he....spoke?

When the other didn't answer quick enough for Cathulu's liking, he clambered onto the table, knocking several dishes off, along with a few drinks. He disappeared momentarily before a big roasted turkey came scooting closer to the edge before finally toppling over just next to O'reo. Cathulu and his mask peeked over the table, cackled like some sort of gremlin, tossed the other some thumbs up, then flung a few finger foods off the table as well before seemingly disappearing up there.

A flick from a blue and yellow tail caught the angel’s gaze as he watched the Rak it belong to make his way toward the second floor. He stared long after the Rak was out of sight. Not a bad idea. He took quiet note of the direction he went in while heaping a few more pastries onto his plate.

The new voice pulled his attention toward the marble colored harpy with the wine glass, a surprise for him. “Actually, yes yes I would. Thank you” he took the glass with faint surprise and chagrin before holding out some of his plate toward the harpy. “How about you? Pastry? “ he smiled while wriggling his nose, he was not going to sneeze…he was Not. Going. To. Snee…. “Achoo!!“ he muffled, turning his head into the shoulder of his wine holding arm beforehand.

No, O'reo did not have enough time to answer the other tentacled tiki cat. He was too busy staring in his hidden confusion trying to figure out how the other tiki had come to be upside down. O'reo had a few different theories laid out in his simple mind when suddenly the best day ever came to be. Food was raining down from the heavens. It was true, everything everyone had ever said about a Venus party and he hadn't even TASTED it yet. As the giant turkey peeked over the edge of the table O'reo was certain that his eyes had grown twice as big. O'reo applauded his upside down compadre and if he could have jumped up and down in excitement he would have but, as established, he couldn't. Instead he climbed onto the glorious mess of food and claimed victory over it by feasting.

"Certainly," responded Rubena, taking a small plate off the table and helping herself first to a pastry from the male's plate, then to a few more from the table. "Goodness!" she exclaimed as he sneezed. "Are you quite alright?" she asked. She looked around, wondering what would make him react this way.

Koios had planned this one outing away from the tree a chance to party down before he settled down to a quiet life living in the tree. He knew he wasn't supposed to be doing this but he just wanted one vacation away from home before he found a mate and settled down for the rest of his life. He didn't think there would be any harm in him letting wild just one vacation. What could go wrong? He was pretty sure no high officials from home would come to a place like this and if they did they would be in as much trouble as he would if they were caught right?

Erlantz was nervous as he walked into the grand round room he looked up at the skylight high above it was amazing and had him very distracted he had never gone on a vacation before so this was all new to him. He was somewhere in the middle when it came to angels and demons since he was a shetani. He wondered what Venus thought of his kind. Looking around he thought it was good there were no pink decorations he thought for sure there would be lots of decorations of hearts and frills and such. He planned to check into the hotel later for now he figure he would snack and relax for a bit.
