                        ▰ SOCIAL AND PERSONALITY

                        Nindo: "Never let another person force you to fall in line."
                        Personality: Hitoshi isn't exactly used to anyone wanting to talk to him, so he tends to remain quiet when given the option. Despite that, he actually doesn't like to be alone, so he usually ends up just kind of... standing there. Existing. Just know, that if he's bothering to stay by your side it's because he enjoys your company. If he didn't, then he'd just leave without a word. He tends to put off an aloof persona as if he doesn't really care about what's going on around him. He is entirely unaware of this. In truth, he really just doesn't know how to have a normal conversation with people. Especially those of the opposite sex. The quick temper of a Hoshigaki doesn't help matters at all, making him easily agitated by others who are rude or annoying. He has a soft spot for children though. And cute girls.

                        Hitoshi doesn't have a very high opinion of himself, despising his bloodline and quick temper especially.

                        Biography: The major shinobi villages don't tend to pay much attention to what happens outside of their walls. It's hard for them to, what with constantly being wrapped up in their own conflicts, and for the smaller villages that can't afford to request their aid... well, sometimes those villages just don't last. Hitoshi often wonders if it's evil for him to be secretly pleased with the fate of the place he once called "home".

                        Born of Hoshigaki blood into a village full of superstitious individuals who feared those like him with Bloodlines that changed their bodies in ways others would call inhuman, it didn't take long for Hitoshi to internalize such disgust for his own body. Others might have rebelled against such unfair discrimination, but it's easy for others to say that when they weren't taught from a young age that they were monsters. After watching a young member of the Kemono Shinzō clan get beaten half to death after being caught taking on his animal form he quickly learned that it would be safer for both himself and his mother if he just fell in line. After all, they were pretty fortunate. Besides their sharp teeth, all they had to show they were different were scales on their arms and torso, features that were easily covered up by clothing.

                        Of course, things rarely go to plan where children are involved. Sometimes, an excuse isn't needed. There will always be those who choose to bully others for no particular reason besides that they can, and Hitoshi was an easy target. It didn't take much for his temper to flare up, and despite his best attempts to keep it in line he would find himself regularly getting dragged into fights he wanted no part in. All it took was a torn sleeve, revealing his scaled arm to the world, and the village's wrath soon descended upon him and his mother. They didn't have time to act on it though, for they were all quickly killed.

                        Hitoshi doesn't know anything about the group responsible for it, or why they'd chosen that particular day to revolt. What he does remember is great clouds of insects, gallons of blood, elemental ninjutsu being thrown left and right, and dozens of... intoxicated people with horns? Eventually, he made it back home where he knew his mother would be, only to witness that his home, as well his mother in it, had been reduced to a pile of rubble. He never was able to find his mom's body, or even figure out which side of the battle to blame. Even if he could, he knew that there was nothing he could do about it. The city was basically reduced to ash at that point, himself the sole "lucky" survivor that he knew of at least. He ended up hiding in the ruins of a nearby house, unsure of what to do as he had never once left his village before, just knowing he didn't want to get found by either side of the battle that had taken place.

                        Eventually, he was discovered by a Chunin of Konohagakure passing through, on her way home from a mission. With no other options available, Hitoshi asked the woman who called herself Yukiko to take him with her. Thankfully, she took him. Yukiko was a kind, yet stern woman. When he told her that he wanted to be strong, she taught him everything she knew in the trip to Konoha. Those months of training were basically hell for him, but he surprisingly caught on quickly, especially once she put a spear in his hands. Never once did he show an interest in his bloodline, however, preferring to ignore the existence of what had caused him so much strife.

                        The Chunin could only teach Hitoshi so much without it affecting her personal life. She'd grown fond of him though, so upon arriving back to Konoha she allowed him to live with, becoming his legal guardian. From there he was enrolled into the academy, where he could complete his training and hopefully in that time figure out what he'd do after.

                        Second Class: Bukijutsu
                        ▱▰▱ Mystic HeroThe user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by making any flourish or deliberate movement to cast the technique in the direction the weapon is commanded. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu together with varying cool downs for a single action.

                        Strengths:
                        • If he can cut it, he can probably kill it. Hitoshi is good at buffing his own stats and reducing his opponents, and all he needs is a single cut or wound inflicted upon the opponent to make the most of his bloodline.
                        • Great at close or long range. At long range, his bloodline makes enemy suiton jutsu all but useless against him, even when they have Overwhelming.
                        • Can easily track a wounded opponent thanks to his bloodline.
                        Weaknesses:
                        • If he can't cut it, he'll probably have some difficulty killing it, and Genjutsu specialists are mighty hard to cut.
                        • As a Hoshigaki, he tends to be easily angered and has a hot temper. He's spent his whole life trying to suppress that anger instead of dealing with, so Hitoshi still doesn't really know how to handle his temper, leading to him regularly getting into fights that could otherwise be avoided.
                        • Low self confidence.
                        Fears:
                        • Being seen as inhuman, or a monster.
                        • Being the center of attention.

                        Modifiers:
                        Hoshigaki Bloodline Traits:
                        ▰▰▰ Bloodline Traits:
                        • All Hoshigaki have the water element, and techniques that form sharks made of water do not require slots to learn and require one rank less in chakra cost at a minimum of [5].
                        • Hoshigaki are quick to anger, and when they smell blood, literally or figuratively, they tend to be quick to capitalize on the weakness they perceive.
                        • Hoshigaki possesses a set of gills for the innate breathing of either air or water.
                        • Sharkskin is tough and jarring to others so any physical contact made with a Hoshigaki results in tier one paralysis on the limb that made contact with the Hoshigaki.
                        • Bukijutsu costs [10] less resource to use at every body rank, maxing out at 60 less at S+, always to a minimum of 5 resource paid per technique.
                        • Hoshigaki are automatically contracted with the fish, and their animal sage mode does not take a spot away from the contract's sage limit. Animal sage mode is separate from the Hoshigaki sage mode.
                        • Hoshigaki are able to inflict tiered drench with all of their techniques.
                        • All primary members of the Hoshigaki Clan are automatically contracted to the aquatic summons of the Verdant Abyss and are able to summon them once they learn the summoning technique. Must travel to the Verdant Abyss to become a sage. If you sign any other contract then you lose access to the aquatic summons.


                        Class Exclusive:

                        Samehada:

                        • While the user is the designated wielder of this sword they have access to the water element and gain five ninjutsu slots per body rank to use for the water release exclusively. If the water element is already possessed, the user gains the overwhelming attribute for their water release.
                        • Samehada passively absorbs an insignificant unranked amount of chakra from it's wielder to keep itself sustained. Samehada has a chakra pool of chakra pool of it's own totaling in 1500 chakra.
                        • Samehada's attacks and bukijutsu used with this attack do not preform clean cuts, dealing three times the bleeding effect of the trauma status while lasting twice as long. Additionally, armor is treated as one rank lower when interacting with this weapon, this only applies to armor and not defensive techniques.
                        • Samehada and the user are capable of completely merging bodies with one another as they form a humanoid shark form that is capable of growing up to ten feet in size as a whole. This humanoid shark form is capable of harnessing natural energy while moving so long as they are in water, achieving a sage mode with their unity and underwater breathing through gills grown during this time. They can gather 150 nature chakra per post as long as an offensive activation isn't used. The amount of Nature Chakra they can maintain/gather is equal to 1/5 of their combined maximum chakra and stamina. Once activated, the sage mode can be maintained for 10 posts. After which, to reenter the user must have fully replenished their nature chakra. Water based techniques, taijutsu and bukijutsu overwhelm if not already possessing the property. If overwhelming is possessed, the techniques are treated as one rank higher. The class stat cap of the user is increased by [2] points. Sage mode will increase all stats to reach this cap. This sage mode follows its own rules, and gives the user three custom slots to use for samehada fusion techniques. Incompatible with another sage mode simultaneously. Additionally, all attributes and traits are transferred to the user's flesh in this form, allowing taijutsu and basic combat to carry the same effects as the user's sword would carry. Chakra absorbed in this form may be converted to nature chakra to prolong the use of abilities in this form.
                        ▱▰▱ Symbiotic Swordsman | Samehada's chakra pool and harmonious relationship to it's owner allow it to contribute chakra to a technique for the complex half of any bukijutsu or spiritual bukijutsu.
                        ▱▰▱ Feeding Frenzy | Upon physical contact with a spiritual technique, Samehada absorbs two ranks of the technique's chakra before collision occurs, filling only its own chakra pool, if reserves are full then the chakra is merely consumed. Additionally, if directly contacting an enemy, the blade absorbs chakra equal to their body rank.
                        ▱▰▱ Vicious Fang | Physical collisions with this sword in any degree cause trauma at two tiers higher than it normally would from Samehada's brutal shredding.


                        Bukijutsu/Taijutsu Training:

                        ▰ Flame Breathing Pattern [ Kaen Kokyū Hōhō ] | Rank D | Training
                        The user is accustomed to the unique and various breaths that it takes to perform physical attacks as well as to channel chakra. This allows the user to passively detect when an offensive action is about to occur, giving them a [1] point increase in agility per body rank of the user. Additionally, once every three posts, the user is able to defend against an offensive activation without utilizing an activation.
                        ▰ Flame Attunement [ Chōsei Sa Reta Honō ] | Rank C | Training
                        By practicing the style's many forms, the user has learned to reduce the chakra needed for equal results by finite control. This reduces the required chakra by 5 per rank for complex techniques that channel elemental powers. In addition, this does not reduce the potency of the user's techniques in collisions.
                        ▰ Flames of Deception [ Kyogi no Hi ] | Rank C | Training
                        Once per post when using a technique from this style after the user completes this training, a C Ranked elemental clone of the user may be created in their place as they move out of sight in some manner through role play. This costs no activation but requires a C Rank amount of chakra each time done. These clones have access to C Rank and below Basic Combat Skills. In addition, each of these clones, upon being stricken with a value equal or greater to C Rank explode, sending their specific element flying outward fifteen feet. Each clone requires an E Ranked Upkeep per post.
                        ▰ Dragon's Direction | Rank C | Training
                        Spiritual Doki Yari techniques can have chakra recycled for the use of another attack. This is done by reversing the flow of chakra being generated through the pole arm then exerting the chakra again for the next technique. This cannot be used to recycle chakra that is no longer in contact with the pole arm. Chakra is recycled at one rank lower in value than the technique being recycled. This chakra must be used by the end of the following post.
                        ▰ Elemental Doubling | Rank C | Training
                        The user does a single post of training where they practice combining their techniques with more than a single element. Once completed, all techniques are able to carry two elemental properties. This does not allow for Elemental Bloodlines to be used in this manner.
                        ▰ Fluid Movement | Rank E | Training
                        Techniques used for a blocking, countering or evasive action have their cost reduced by 5 stamina per rank of the technique and must pay no less than 5 stamina.
                        ▰ Whirlpool Walking | Rank C | Training
                        The user is now more adept at using circular footwork and can use it against multiple attackers, usually weaving between them, keeping them bumping into each other or simply getting in each others way, taking away any numerical advantage. In the deflecting stance, the user can deflect a technique of their body rank or lower once every three posts for no activation, still requiring the stamina/chakra cost paid.


                        Other:

                        • Bukijutsu techniques have Overwhelming.
                        • 1 point in endurance reduces physical trauma by 1 tier to a minimum of 1.
                        • 2 points in endurance reduces the rank of damage taken from simple and complex techniques by 1
                        • 3 points in endurance reduces the stamina cost of defensive simple/complex techniques by 5 at a minimum of 5.


                        Personal Attributes:
                        ▱▰▱ Surf or Swim | Walking on or submerged in water, Hoshigaki can dodge for one rank less in resource and their speed is boosted by [1] at E-C body rank and [2] at B-S+ body rank. They are also able to use bloodline techniques with somatic gestures.
                        ▱▰▱ Sharkskin | When the Hoshigaki's blade makes contact with a target, they absorb chakra equal to the defense used. They can also start with an additional [2] bukijutsu styles.
                        ▱▰▱ Aquatic Mastery | The user's suiton techniques may be doubled in size for no additional cost. This does not effect the strength of the user's suiton techniques. In addition, should the user's water ninjutsu or clan techniques interact with another suiton technique, the user's technique steals one rank of chakra from the opposing technique. If this overpowers the opponents technique, this technique continues on its path normally. Also, the clan member gains a +1 to Strength or Speed every time they increase in body rank. This culminates in a total of +4 Stats spread to Strength & Speed as desired.

They are able to continuously pay this cost per post to track them until they manage to mask their wound somehow, or travel through three different subforums, without using an activation.

The user channels charka around their body, creating a silhouette of water that encases them. This water offers it's own rank in protection against attacks while enhancing their speed and strength by [1] per rank of the cloak. This technique has an upkeep cost two ranks below it's execution with a minimum cost of 5 chakra. This technique inflicts tiered drench upon those who make physical contact with them.

▰ Contempt for the Weak [ Yowai hito ni taisuru keibetsu ] | Rank X
The user can deal additional damage to an already wounded target by paying the cost of the technique they used that made contact with the target. Essentially, the attack that wounds the target is paid for twice. However, this does not cost an activation but does inflict any tiered status effect twice upon the opponent as the damage is doubled (as if hit twice in the same manner). This technique is only applicable to bukijutsu or taijutsu.

This skill can be used to launch the user up to 20 feet in a given direction, augmenting another taijutsu or bukijutsu attack as it is done. This offers a temporary +2 speed boost. This skill does not consume an activation but has a two post cooldown unless performed underwater.

The user lets out a guttural, high pitched or low pitched whine from their throat that booms forward in a 15 foot cone. Targets hit have their agility reduced by 2, and experience general disorientation making dodge actions require 1.5x the resource cost for two posts if performed on land and four posts if performed underwater.

The user channels the power of the water around them into their weapons, their hands, eyes, and/or mouth, and fires it off in a powerful attack that can blow apart a bounder with ease at low rank, and tear apart large houses at A. This technique has a one post charge time, but the user can still move while it is charging. As an added boon, while near a large enough source of water, this skill can be sustained, dealing constant damage per post, though still costing an activation.

The user forms a hand sign, flooding their chakra network with a sudden burst of chakra that negates any foreign chakra affecting the user. This is commonly used to release genjutsu but has other purposes. Requires expending chakra in equal rank and potency to the technique being broken. Flooding the brain with chakra completely dispells the hallucinations from enchantment, instance, and chain category genjutsu immediately. The chakra in the brain also mentally focuses the user and reveals the images of illusory category genjutsu as obviously fake but does not completely dispell them because they are outside of the brain but the user is still released from the illusory technique's effects. Multiple genjutsu can be released at once using Kai as long as the appropriate amount of chakra is applied but genjutsu can also be selectively released.

• Henge no Jutsu | Rank E |
The user forms a hand sign, changing their physical appearance in the blink of an eye. Using this technique the user is able to transform into smaller objects or persons up to their own relative size. This allows the user to guise themselves in plain sight or masquerade as another person entirely. Alternatively, the user may cast this on inanimate objects within eyesight. This technique remains active for three posts before it must be repaid.

• Bunshin no Jutsu | Rank E |
The user forms a hand sign, creating an intangible clone of themselves. These clones are not capable of following commands further than the direction to move from one place to another. Furthermore, they are incapable of affecting physical objects or the world around them. The user can create a single at E Rank body and an additional one for each body rank following for no additional cost. Clones created in this manner remain visible until stricken or until the user's third post.

• Substitution Technique | Rank E |
When in danger the Shinobi will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the Shinobi to quickly flee and hide while the object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. The substitution technique can only be performed four [4] times per battle and you must be near an object at least roughly the same size as your character's torso, capping out at your character's full-length size. Other roleplayers' characters (unless willing) cannot be used as a substitute. Spawning random, faceless characters to use as substitutes is not permitted. All clones, with the exception of the standard clone, may be used in substitution.

The user coats their body in chakra while pursuing someone covertly. The chakra surrounding their body causes anyone who looks directly at them to find their eyes wandering elsewhere. Due to its low cost in chakra, this seldom arouses suspicion to those feeling the prying eyes of the user. This technique must be repaid every three posts.

▰ Magic Cloak of Invisibility Technique [ Kakuremino no Jutsu ] | Rank E
The user takes a piece of cloth or material large enough to cover their entire body. Channeling chakra into this item allows it to relay a visual display of whatever would be naturally seen if the cloth and the user hiding beneath it were not present. This allows the user to hide, although it is easily seen though by the user's physical movements beneath the cloth. This technique remains active for three posts before needing to be repaid.

▰ Mechanical Eight Trigrams Formation [ Karakuri Hakke no Jin ] | Rank E
The user, having begun their journey in the crafting of mechanical and technological advances applies their knowledge to the defenses of the village. By planning and utilizing blueprints to construct a wall system that rises from the ground to defend a topic or village. In order to activate this defense system, a person must have access to this technique and utilize it with the switch of a lever or button which can be made remotely and carried on a person. It is common for villages to have an alarm of drums or other loud noise to que those who have access to this technique to raise the defenses. This technique requires the user have the title of [ Veteran Technology Crafter ] in order to utilize this technique. These walls measure five feet in height per crafting title in technology, starting with veteran. In addition, these walls are able to defend against attacks equal to the body rank of the person activating the technique. Creating the walls require five posts

▰ Escaping Skill [ Nawanuke no Jutsu ] | E Rank
Allows the user to escape from being tied up, or otherwise trapped, as long as doing so is possible without requiring significant altering of the human body to escape and as long as movement is still possible. Using chakra, ropes and other ties can be nudged in ways to loosen them and allow the user's escape.

▰ Barrier Shatter Technique [ Kekkai Massatsu no Jutsu ] | Rank X
The user forms a handsign, projecting chakra outward to pass through barriers composed of chakra of its own rank/potency and lower, destroying the chakra barrier. If the user has an ally to perform this with the cost may be paid between the two, but the ally does not require an activation to use this technique. Opponent's who have their barriers broken in this manner cannot reform barrier techniques for one post per rank of this technique.

▰ Feigning Sleep Technique [ Tanukineiri no Jutsu ] | Rank E
Allows for the user or willing shinobi to be put instantly to sleep, thus gaining any regeneration benefits associated with sleep. A firm shake is enough to wake them, or they will wake up naturally after a full sleep cycle, totaling in three posts.

• Art of Walking on Water | D Rank |
Allows the user to stand upon water as though it were a solid surface. When standing upon water that is unaffected by chakra the user must pay an E rank cost per post. When standing upon affected waters, the user must pay chakra the same rank and potency as the technique that is affecting the water. This technique requires no activation after it's inital post, only it's upkeep cost.

• Art of Walking on Walls | D Rank |.
The user can utilize the technique to effectively anchor themselves to a surface to prevent losing footing and falling, even at completely opposite angles. Using this trees and other surfaces not effected by chakra requires an E rank cost. When standing upon surfaces manipulated by chakra, the user must pay the same rank and potency in chakra to stand upon that surface.

▰ Water Manipulation [ Mizu Soujuu ] | Rank E-X
This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) An S+ jutsu always requires a water source, even if the shinobi in question creates it first. In this technique, X determines the amount of water to be created. At E-rank, about a gallon of water is gathered, and the amount quadruples with each rank after, capping out at about one-thousand [1000] gallons at S rank [enough to fill a small pool]. Learning this technique also reduces the cost of basic combat manipulation by five [5] chakra, to a minimum of five [5]. Freely manipulated water in these cases are treated as though they were simple for interactions.

▰ Trick of Water [ Mizu no Waruasobi ] | Rank E
The user channels chakra into their fingertips, saturating them as they perform a simple flick of their fingers at their target within ten feet, aiming at their eyes. If unblocked, this causes T1 blindness

▰ Water Mirror Technique [ Mizu Kagami no Jutsu ] | Rank E
A simple Jutsu that allows the user to turn a quantity of water as small as a drop or as large as a small puddle into a mirrored surface. Only lasts one [1] post unless an upkeep cost of the original cost is paid each post.

▰ Water Sword [ Mizu no Yaiba ] | Rank E-B
Creates a sharp sword made of solid water reinforced with water chakra in the user’s hand for a single-use. As the user's control improves, he can manipulate the shape and size they want the sword to have, from a side sword to a massive two-hander. At the minimum requirements, the sword has minimal offensive power, able to at most make simple cuts in flesh while at its strongest power can cleave a man in two. At E-Rank, the water blade is at the length of a Wakizashi and procedurally grows longer in length per rank invested in this technique: E-Wakizashi, D-Katana, C-Nodachi, B-Zanbanto. This technique holds the strength of a technique equal to the amount of chakra invested in it. The Water Sword dissipates after it is used in an attack [May persist if a sustain of two ranks below the initial chakra cost is paid]. E-Rank at a minimum in all cases.

The user and any allied shinobi they have trained in Korabo with and alternatively shadow clones will form a hand sign, linking themselves as the user slams their hand unto the earth. A bolt of lighting shoots between each of the allied shinobi as they each donate an E Rank amount of chakra before this technique is directed toward a target. For each participating shinobi, the lightning bolt gains a rank in power during collisions and is equal to half it's rank when impacting a target directly.

▰ Flickering Light [ Touei no Jutsu ] | Rank E
The user manipulates their chakra within their body to cause their body to glow brightly, illuminating a ten foot area and causing tier one blindness to those looking directly at the user. This technique may be sustained for three posts.

▰ Lightning Clone [ Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu ] | Rank E
Forming the required hand signs, the user forms a clone of themselves composed of lightning chakra. This clone remains active up to three posts and is destroyed by technique of it's rank and potency or higher. Upon destruction, the clone releases a bolt of lighting that targets the person who destroyed it, reaching ten feet maximally. This causes tier one paralysis on the point of contact's limb.

▰ Static Strings [ Seidenki Ito no Jutsu ] | Rank E
The user channels their chakra to a single hands fingertips, creating thin strings of lightning that are nearly impossible to see with normal eyes. These strings can be used to latch to objects and detect movement of those passing through them and grasp objects.

This is a passive technique that is the first in two steps to protect the user from damaging themselves with their very own techniques. Those practicing Raiton must learn this technique or take E Ranked shock damage when utilizing raiton techniques.

This essentially makes 2 visual genjutsus into 1, with the second half of the genjutsu being immune to 1 overall dispel attempt.

The user draws their arms back and tucks them to their sides, elbows pointed behind them as they clench their fists. Upon the elbows moving into place, a concussive blast of chakra explodes outward from behind the user to either catch an opponent off guard or defend against an incoming attack without turning around to face the challenge. This concussive blast reaches five feet per rank of it's execution.

The user delivers two strikes to the opponent in the time it would take a normal human to deliver one per rank of the technique. The user takes the back side of their hand and throws a powerful crossing punch for the opponent's head or midsection.This strike causes a concussive explosion of force upon impact that throws the opponent five feet per rank of the technique while causes tiered vertigo if unblocked, sending the target spinning as they crash along.

An evasive counter that allows the user to strike back while dodging a physical attack. By rotating their hips, squatting slightly and lowering their upper body, the user is able to pass beneath physical attacks. At the same time, the user's strikes with a hooked punch, striking the side of the opponent as they raise from dodging the attack. The target suffers a 1 point decrease to agility when interacting with this attack.

The user squats as they prepare to attack, sending an uppercut skyward as they extend their legs and create explosive force that ripples out in a ten foot shock wave around the user. This wave of force stops projectiles and ninjutsu in their tracks, negating the spiritual property of the attack. If the attack defended is one or more lower than the rank of this technique, that attack is turned back at it's source. In addition, those directly impacted by the uppercut are hit with a mighty force that sends them skyward five feet per rank of the technique.

The user coats their fists in chakra, allowing them to strike spiritual attacks with their fists. In addition this decreases the target's endurance by 1 point until the end of combat.

The user floods their system with chakra while choosing one of the primary elements they have access to. This attunes the user to that element, giving their element of choice the following effects. This technique requires no activation but always requires it's chakra cost paid equal to the technique it is paired with.
Water: Reduces speed of the target by a [1] point amount per rank when contacting an opponent for the following post.
Earth: Stuns an opponent, losing an activation if unblocked.
Fire: Reduces strength of the target by a [1] point amount per rank when contacting an opponent for the following post.
Wind: blows the target back an additional five feet per rank.
Lightning:Reduces agility of the target by a [1] point per rank when contacting an opponent for the following post.


Stage Two

▰ Forceful Wave | Rank X | Spiritual
The user delivers a palm thrust in the direction of their target. The chakra released from the palm thrust creates a wave of chakra that expands five feet per rank of the technique and travels twenty-five feet total. This wave of force has the ability to knock away techniques of its own rank and potency and lower in the opposite direction as well as send those who are impacted by it away if their body rank is lower than the technique's cost. Opponents may pay chakra equal to the technique's rank in order to break from the forceful blast of this technique. In addition, this technique carries the chosen elemental affinity of the user to add it's damage type to the attack. If the palm strikes the target directly, the user pays the cost of this technique in stamina in addition to its original cost to deal damage.

The user squats, delivering a sweeping kick that runs along the ground. A thing veil of chakra rushes along the ground and travels toward the target five feet per rank of the technique, knocking foes down. When the user's chosen element is added to the technique, it affects the earth along it's path. Fire ignites the ground, Water saturates it, earth shatters the ground to make unstable footing, wind causes updraft, sending things flying, and lightning leaps along the surface of the earth.If the kick strikes the target directly, the user pays the cost of this technique in stamina in addition to it's original cost to deal damage.

The user throws their hands to either side of their body, punching or delivering an open palmed strike. The user projects chakra outward from either side that creates a concussive blast five feet per rank, allowing them to launch any chosen element they posses from their hands, even allowing separate elements from both hands. If the palms strike the target directly, the user pays the cost of this technique in stamina in addition to it's original cost to deal damage.


Stage Three

The user opens their hips by rotating their front foot out. Then sinking, pivoting, twisting the user throws their hands outward as they rotate a full circle while expelling chakra five feet in every direction that carries the single element of their choosing they posses. This technique is used to duck below target attacks while countering with their own attack. This technique must be executed at the rank of the technique being evaded.

The user does a single post of training where they practice combining their techniques with more than a single element. Once completed, all techniques are able to carry two elemental properties. This does not allow for Elemental Bloodlines to be used in this manner.

The user slides one foot forward and holds the pole-arm firmly so that the blade edge is even with the user's shoulders. The hands are held further apart to maximize the length of the weapon. Techniques executed from this stance gain an additional one point to strength for that techniques execution. The cost of this stance is deducted each post.

▰ Reactive Stance | Rank D | Simple | Supplementary
The user grips the pole-arm just below the blade, decreasing opponent's speed by two points for the duration of the time they spend in this stance when interacting with the user specifically. While performing this stance, technique's ranges are halved when using the pole-arm. The cost of this stance is deducted each post.

▰ Thrust | Rank X | Complex
The user stabs a target with the blade at the end of the pole-arm. The force of this thrust is enough to create a small shock wave. Starting at C-Rank, the shock wave is strong enough to deflect incoming projectiles equal to it's rank. This shock wave measures fifteen feet and expands five feet for every additional rank. If used in conjunction with a technique that accelerates the user in a straight line, physical contact with the spear treats armor as one rank lower.


Stage Two

▰ Bludgeoning Counter | Rank D | Simple
A supplementary action to any attack using the bladed end of the pole-arm. After launching the primary attack, the user spins their pole-arm about to strike the target with the tip of the shaft, causing an additional tier of trauma. An unblocked strike throws a target back up to ten feet and any limb stricken acquires tier one paralysis.

▰ Spinning Counter | Rank X | Simple
The user spins their pole arm in front of their body having the pattern of slashes cross in their center as it protects the body from projectiles and projectile ninjutsu due to the sheer force the technique emits. Must be equal to the rank of the technique it is defending against.

▰ Gouge | Rank D-A | Complex
A simple stab charged with Chakra. The wound left by this attack is small, but the chakra of the user lingers to prolong the bleeding status. This prevents the wound from closing without medical treatment specific to bleeding of one rank higher than this technique's execution or appropriate treatment from a hospital.


Stage Three

▰ Gatling Spear | Rank C-A | Complex
A supplementary action that allows the user coats their weapon in chakra. Starting at C Rank and for each rank of the technique after the user is able to replicate any thrusting attack launched primarily with this technique at one rank lower in power than the original. Effects that cause trauma have the lower tiered technique's trauma applied atop it's primary infliction.

▰ Disarming Strike | Rank X | Simple
This technique is a quick assault at the enemy while they are making an attack at you. The user will circle the shaft of the pole arm around the opponent's weapon/arms to entrap them. The user will then force the target's weapon away five feet per rank of the technique. In addition, this technique must be used at the rank of a technique using the weapon being disarmed.

A supplementary technique that allows the user to channel chakra into the blade of their weapon to extend any simple technique's range by adding chakra blades that fly fifteen feet from the end of the weapon. These blades cleave through barriers as though they were one rank lower in strength.

The user will swing the one end of the pole arm at the foe. Then upon it hitting the opponent the user will make a followup strike with the other half of the weapon by utilizing the reflected momentum of the first attack.

The user coats their weapon in chakra. For each rank of the technique the user is able to deliver three thrusts in the time it would take to deliver a single thrust. Each rank of the technique gives a [1] point increase in speed.

The user parries the opponent's weapon, using this action as an opening to strike their shoulder with the polearm. If successful the target is unable to utilize that limb the following post.

▰ Spinning Counter | Rank X | Simple
The Spinning Counter is a technique created in order to deflect projectile weapons such as kunai or shuriken with precision and timing. The user spins their pole arm in front of their body having the patter cross in their center as it protects the body. Must be equal to the rank of the technique it is defending against.

▰ Gouge | Rank D | Complex
A simple stab charged with Chakra. The wound left by this attack is small, but the chakra of the user lingers, preventing the wound from closing. This wound continues to bleed unless treated by a medical technique or a hospital is visited.


Stage Three

▰ Dragon's Direction | Rank C | Training
Spiritual Doki Yari techniques can have chakra recycled for the use of another attack. This is done by reversing the flow of chakra being generated through the pole arm then exerting the chakra again for the next technique. This cannot be used to recycle chakra that is no longer in contact with the pole arm. Chakra is recycled at one rank lower in value than the technique being recycled. This chakra must be used by the end of the following post.

▰ Disarming Strike | Rank X | Simple
This technique is a quick assault at the enemy while they are making an attack at you. The user will circle the shaft of the pole arm around the opponent's weapon/arms to entrap them. The user will then force their weapon and arm to the side, slamming their weapon into the opponent's to make them let go of their weapon. This allows the user to effectively disarm the foe and get around the opponent's attack. Must be used at the opponent's body rank.

The user channels chakra to the tip of the of their pole arm. The user slashes their pole arm in the direction of the opponent. Upon doing so a five foot wide arcing chakra blade that follows the weapon's path and can cleave through armor as though it were one tier lower in rank.

The user coats the pole arm blade with a veil of chakra which temporarily increases its cutting and piercing capabilities for a single post, allowing the user to easily pierce through defenses. Those who have the fire element are able to ignite contacted foes.

▰ Deflecting Stance | Rank X | Simple
The user stands in a front stance, their weapon in one hand by their hip, tip pointing at the center of the enemy's chest. The user's knees are slightly bent while they stay light on their toes, making movement faster and dodging easier. Techniques executed from this stance confer a [1] point increase to agility per rank of the technique. If a technique is executed from this stance and the user returns to this stance, they are not required to pay for it again until a new stance is taken.

▰ Blocking Stance | Rank X | Simple
The user stands in a front stance, their weapon held with two hands down by their hip. Their stance is more linear this time, with the blade held just off their body slightly to offer the opponent as little openings as possible. The blade crosses over the users midline, with the tip pointing at the enemies forehead. The user’s feet are firmly planted, making their strikes, blocks, and deflections have more power and effectiveness. Techniques executed from this stance confer a [1] point increase to endurance per rank of the technique. If a technique is executed from this stance and the user returns to this stance, they are not required to pay for it again until a new stance is taken.

The user steps hard with their front leg, shoving the flat of the blade into the enemies midsection or defending weapon while placing their back hand onto the blade, adding power to the shove. This technique shoves an enemy five feet per rank of the technique away from the user.

Techniques used for a blocking, countering or evasive action have their cost reduced by 5 stamina per rank of the technique and must pay no less than 5 stamina.


Stage Two

▰ Twin Crests | Rank X | Simple
The user holds their blade to either side as they move forward to counter the target's attack. Pivoting with the execution of the counter or parry, the user moves the blade to the opposite side of the body which mimics the position of the first attack. Repeating the action, the user is able to create a secondary slash that strikes at the target whom they just countered while simultaneously defending themselves. This technique can be made complex when interacting with chakra based attacks.

▰ Crashing Wake | Rank X | Simple
The user channels chakra into their blade, slashing horizontally. After completing the horizontal slash the user continues by pivoting and dropping to a single knee, creating a circular slash from a lower position. The chakra within their blade creates a shock wave that extends five feet per rank of the technique during these slashes that sends opponents flying in the opposite direction and disorienting them, causing them to suffer a reduction in speed during their next post equal to the rank of the technique [-1 for E-C and -2 for B-S+].

▰ Rising Tide | Rank X | Complex
The user leaps ten feet into the air, creating a shock wave around their position that stumbles their enemies but does not throw them away. Using this disorientation, the user descends upon the target and cuts them top to bottom, immediately moving five feet per rank of the technique away instantly after the action in order to keep themselves from being surrounded.Those with the water element are able to create a wave of water upon leaping in addition to the concussive blast.


Stage Three

▰ Fluid Transition | Rank X | Spiritual
The user coats their blade in chakra. This effect can last until used or until the end of combat. The next ninjutsu that the user encounters at the rank of this technique or lower is reflected back at its source by simply making contact with this sword.

▰ Flowing Circle Stance | Rank X | Simple
The user, usually when surrounded by multiple opponents, will extend their weapon as far as then can then rotate their torso, even arching and extending behind them, utilizing their whole body to generate force while making a full 360 degrees of coverage. This is used to not only attack and defend against a group of attackers, but is also used to survey how many and from what direction the other enemies are coming from. This requires the user not move their feet from their position during the stance.
The user loses all stat bonuses to endurance and strength during this time but gains a [1] point increase to speed and agility while in this position.

▰ Whirlpool Walking | Rank C | Training
The user is now more adept at using circular footwork and can use it against multiple attackers, usually weaving between them, keeping them bumping into each other or simply getting in each others way, taking away any numerical advantage. In the deflecting stance, the user can deflect a technique of their body rank or lower once every three posts for no activation, still requiring the stamina/chakra cost paid.

The user channels chakra into their blade. The chakra is visible and appears as though waves swirling around the blade. The user's strikes for the next two posts per rank of the technique are able to push a target off balance during clashes and knock them to the ground if unguarded

Stage One

▰ Heavy Smash [ Omoi Tokimeki ] | Rank X | Simple
The user holds their weapon vertically over one of their shoulders, striking down on an opponent with a crushing force, causing an additional tier of trauma. Target's who are physically contacted by this attack have their endurance reduced by 1 point when used C rank or below and 2 points when used B rank or higher. This loss of endurance remains active until the end of combat.

▰ Sweep [ Haki ] | Rank X | Simple
The user rotates, slashing horizontally as their body pivots and completes a 360 degree turn. This technique leaves the blade hoisted over the user's shoulder. If the user's blade contacts a target, the target is launched five feet per rank of the technique and an additional five feet for every point of strength the user has and causes an additional tier of trauma.


Stage Two

▰ Stab [ Tsuki ] | Rank X | Simple
Holding the weapon in their dominant hand and bracing the flat of the blade on the opposite forearm, the user thrusts their weapon forward, treating armor and armor techniques one rank lower. If this technique is deflected downward, the user is able to pay the cost of the technique without an activation consumption the following post to use both hands to swing the blade skyward, launching the target skyward if unguarded, doing so causes tiered vertigo.

▰ Earth's Embrace [ Chikyū no Hōyō ] | Rank X | Complex
The user swings vertically down, slamming their blade into the earth, augmenting it's swing with chakra. The blade cleaves the earth, churning it for five feet per rank of the technique with a width of ten feet. Any person caught in the churning earth is knocked to the ground, removing their endurance increases for the next turn. Additionally, when moving in this area, opponents have tiered decreases in agility.


Stage Three

▰ Saw [ Nokogiri ] | Rank X | Simple
The practitioner takes their weapon into a single hand, raising the opposite arm to rest the majority of the weight. The user then performs a swift sidestep and attempts to hack at their opponent with a single hard rising vertical strike. Naturally, the blade falls over the user's shoulder falling behind them as though they were unsheathing it from their backs.Opponents stricken with this attack are sent five feet into the air per rank of the attack if undefended. Additionally, the opponent suffers tiered debuffs to endurance for the remainder of combat if successful.

▰ Dull Blade [ Nibu Ha ] | Rank X | Spiritual
The user channels chakra into their blade, causing it to ignite with the user's chakra color. Swinging the blade , the user launches a chakra blade that measures 10 feet in length at a target that travels 10 feet per rank of the technique. Upon contact, this blade causes a concussive blast that has half the range of the blade's range when launched and causes tiered trauma.

The user swings their weapon downward upon their target with the intent to cleave them in half. The user gains a 1 point increase in strength and speed when used at C rank or below while B rank and above grants a 2 point increase.

When encountering a defense, the user presses their over sized weapon with all their might into the defenses and crushes it in order to cut the target behind the defense. This attack negates any rank increases granted to techniques that are granted by the technique itself

The user swings their over sized weapon sideways, using it more like a fan. This creates a giant burst of concussive force that spreads in a wave five feet per rank of the technique directly before the user. This concussive burst of force is treated as spiritual in collisions and throws attacks back in the direction they originated.


Stage Two

The user performs a series of rapidly advancing attacks, combining three bukijutsu techniques compatible with their weapon together, requiring only this technique's activation. Any statistic enhancements gained by those techniques are increased by 1 while statuses are increased by 1 tier.

The user channels chakra into their weapon as they perform an upward slash with their giant weapon. The chakra imbued to the blade creates a rapidly vibrating and concussive strike. The following post the target's injuries cause them to lose an activation while reducing armor by one tier for the remainder of combat.


Stage Three

The user channels chakra into the soles of their feet as they blast off from the ground in a straight line. This allows the user to close a gap of twenty five feet within the same time it would take them to take a single step, creating a sonic boom that deafens foes within fifteen feet. If the user ends this movement within five feet of a target that target has their agility reduced by 1 the following post.

▰ Shatter Stance | Rank X | Complex
The user spreads their legs, taking a stance akin to the horse stance while flooding their lower half with chakra. While in this stance the user gain's 1 point of endurance when used at C rank and below while B Rank and above grants a 2 point increase. Additionally, the user is unable to be offbalanced or thrown by the effects of a technique at or below the rank of this technique. Each time a technique is defended against, a fissure wave is released from the user's position towards the source of the attack that expands five feet per rank of the technique defended against. This fissure wave crushes the ground before the user, creating nothing more than rubble before them, causing all opponents to have a 1 point decrease to agility and speed while in that area.
