This is a multi-faceted event, in which there will be chances to win everything from babies of your own, to breeding additives, to perhaps even some other things! Exciting, right?!
You can enter up to 5 Pae for breeding possibilities (adults only), but you must sign up before playing!
It is very important that you all remember this is a PG-13 website. Nothing is allowed to insinuate rape or other adult matters. Please keep withing Gaia's TOS.
If you sign up it is assumed everything is to be consensual with your Pae. If you don't agree with this, feel free to remove them from the event by requesting their removal in the sign-up thread.
Once the main party gets going, feel free to play out any Erote effects if your pae is hit.
Getting hit does not guarantee babies -- this is just for VDay fun!
You must be active and post with effort with each of your Pae'il for that Pae'il. A simple one to two sentence posts won't cut it. Please respect your RP partner, and don't stop RPing without talking about it with them.
This year we may be CC'ing some pairs based on extraordinary effort. If we see any entertaining or inspiring interactions, you can bet you'd be considered.

 Meet Venus' entourage! They are here to ensure your party is a pleasant one!.
Venus', gorgeous ex-fiance! He spends most of his time with Persephone.
Arrows: his bronze arrows make the other Pae look desirable. If his arrow doesn't get you, then watch out for his touch! One little tap and you'll be flexing the night away.
Mischievious God of Love, and Venus' first son, the apple of her eye.
Arrows: his golden arrows are coated in a special love potion that will cause a pae'il to fall in love with the first one they see after being pricked by an arrow.
Anteros was created to give young Eros a playmate. He's the second eldest and recently engaged heart
Arrows: His lead arrows can cause a pae'il to fall in love, just as Eros' arrows, however, Anteros is the Avenger of Scorned love and God of Requited Love. He generally is the one cleaning up after his siblings.
He is happily married to Yukiko, Goddess of Unconditional Love.
Lecherous and very popular with the ladies... and some men, too. He has a way with mortal Pae, making him pretty popular.
Arrows: Himeros' golden arrows will cause pae to feel lust for the first pae'il they see after being pricked. They will have strong sexual desires that are not able to resist.
NOTE: any pae under the influence of one of his arrows will NOT rape another. It will be like Pepe le Pew, and he just simply won't give up until that lust and desire are sated.
Wistful and lonely, Pothos is cursed to never find true happiness with love. That's probably why he's so awkward.
Arrows: Pothos' golden arrows will create in a Pae'il a feeling of longing, of yearning for the first Pae they see. This is not love that they feel, but an intense infatuation; a crush, but on a pae, they cannot ever have.
His arrows are a curse because the pae that is yearned for will never return the love.
Once a handsome young man, Iordanes was transformed into an androgynous god when he merged with a nymph. (the greek kind, not the pae kind.) Iordanes looks like a female but is a male.
Arrows: Iordanes' golden arrows are dipped in the cursed waters that he created, and will cause a pae'il to change gender temporarily if pricked.
Dylo is the only Erote that is not one of Venus' natural born sons. He was found in her garden one afternoon, and she adopted him and made him one of her Erotes. He just wants everyone to feel good!
Arrows: Hedylogos' golden arrows will create in Pae'il super confidence and wit. He can make any Pae'il a sweet-talker and master of flattery! The effect of his arrows are temporary, and he assumes no responsibility if the pae's sweet-talking gets them slapped.
God of the Wedding Hymn and Ceremony, Hymnaios is also considered a muse of music and is always willing to be the evening's entertainment!
Arrows: Hymnaios' golden arrows will cause Pae'il to propose to the first Pae they see.
Psyche isn't part of Venus' Retinue, much to her delight. But she is married to Eros, so she is Venus' daughter-in-law ...
Arrows: Psyche's arrows, when two Pae are hit at the same time, make those Pae'il believe they are soulmates.
Thalia is the Goddess of Celebrations, so if the party is a hit or miss it's all thanks to her!
Arrows: Thalia's arrows incite dance and celebration.
Euphrosyne is so happy and bubbly, and Venus loves the cheer she spreads!
Arrows: Euphrosyne's arrows make Pae'il super happy!
Aglaia is the grace of beauty and Venus' prodigy.
Arrows: Aglaia's arrows make Pae'il extremely beautiful.
Kleta & Phaenna are the Spartan goddesses. Who better to protect us from any possible intruders than this pair? (We're looking at you Eris)
Arrows: Kleta's arrows inspire hero worship to whoever is hit.
Phaenna's arrows inspire Pae'il to show off to each other, eventually leading to some playful wrestling! Watch out for Himeros.
The Younger Graces have been brought in to be among Venus' cherish Graces. They are no longer in training.
They are allowed to "borrow" the arrows of any of their siblings.

"We hope you dressed for the cold! If not, there's a ski shop conveniently located on the Easter strip of Las Venus. They have everything you'd need from parkas, to tail warmers. Wing sweaters are available for a nominal cost. We do recommend picking some up, as Venus does not allow flying at her events."
At the base of the mountain there are half a dozen cherubs dressed with little knit hats, gloves, scarves and tiny little boots. Venus has taken up knitting her recent years and has trained many little cherubs to provide winter wear to the members of Dolandor. They are handing out brochures for the resort. Near the lift, there are about 2 dozen cherubs dress in tight pants, tanks, and little legwarmers on tiny little stationary bicycles. They are the first part of the machine that is taking the gondolas up the mountain.
As your enclosed gondola slowly treads up the mountain on secure overhead tread, there is plenty of time to enjoy the amazing view. The unexplored wilderness is full of wildlife and beautiful views. See some rocky crags and enjoy the raptors in their full glory and witness the courtship cartwheels and nesting pairs. Truly a special sight.
We have provided four water tanks in place of the gondolas to accommodate our watery friends. These lifts are quite heavy, so we ask that only 2 aquatics enter per tank. They are incredible safe and sextuple reinforced ensuring a strong connection. At the top of the lift there are about three dozen little cherubs in matching outfits as the ones below. They are peddling their little legs off as their leader, Wanda, shouts instructions with a tiny little megaphone.
There are tiny little cherubs scurrying around the grounds aiding the guests and leading them to the resort to check-n and where to rent their ski and other snow sport equipment.
A lively little band plays some cheerful winter songs in the entrance to the lodge. The decore inside the building is nothing if not magnificent. Pink and gold trim, hearts and waist-high log carvings of Venus are everywhere. Tiny versions available in the gift shop!
At the slopes, we have the best and highly trained instructors for those that are new to the sport. There are wildlife trail guides available to ensure you make it back safe. Be sure to not feed the bears!
Warm up inn the spa, and pamper yourself while letting the troubles and worries of the world just fade away. We have a sauna, hot tub, mud bath and and many masseuses. Get a facial! We have wrinkle reducing or anti acne treatments for all ages. Manicures, pedicures and makeovers are available for a nominal fee.
There are buffets open 24-7 so enjoy the best food from Dolandor brought to you by our most talented chefs! And don't forget about our open bar! wink

Along trail that led to the base camp for Venus, came a small, lithe group clad in leather and fur. The leader, the only one without a suitcase, could be heard squealing about a certain god of longing from halfway down the path. Long before he ever got into earshot of the cherubs running the gondolas. His coat was a pristine white leather decorated with the grapes of his true love along the edges. The hood and arms were lined in some woodland critters fur and it was tied tightly together in the front. A vine could be seen peeking thru the hood, nestled amidst the light blue nymph's skin.
Next in line, encased in a dark black leather and much shorter in size, came a small and pink critter. It's jacket held no hood. Instead, it's face was covered in a large shield that was painted in a sad face. On it's head, behind the shield, was a small, colorful hat with a pom on top. You couldn't tell, since this critter was much smaller than the large blue screamasaurus, but it was muttering vile things in a different language under it's breath as it dragged two large suitcases at it's side. Every so often, it would glance at the taller nymph with an expression of pure fury and hatred.
Behind the small, pink cat was a creature of similar build and shape to the nymph which was convenient since the nymph was his father. He was dressed in a simple scarf, mittens, and a neat, light brown leather jacket cut for his shape. This jacket had no fur, but was double lined for warmth. His curly black hair could be seen as he trailed behind his father, yelling at him to slow down, little puffs of air trailing behind him like a small train.
Somewhere off in distant lands, a very tired god of blue and black could surely feel the evil coming his way. And if he couldn't feel it, he could definitely hear it.
Up higher in the mountains, a small light and dark colored faun watched the chaos with a grimace. These pae were disrupting her hunting games. Her hands itched to beat them into silence.
Her pale bare horns were just barely visible amongst the nest of snow in which the creature was waiting and watching.
She was a hardened faun, her life of solitude was her comfort. The cold didnt bother this faun. These newcomers did, however. How in the h*ll was she supposed to hunt when these things below her were scaring off her prey.
No. No. This will never do. She had to do something...
Mellinae shivered a bit as swam inside one of the tanks. She had fashioned a sea coral hat and some large seaweed and colorful urchins into a scarf but it just couldnt kill the chill that permeated...well, everything. Despite the heated tanks.
But her eyes were wide in wonder. She'd never seen this white stuff that they were calling snow. Or the clear stuff called ice. When the water where she was from turned cold, it just got dark and dreary. But this land stuff was filled with this white wonder and she couldnt help but wonder if maybe the dark was hiding it when underwater.
She made a note to ask Phorcys if he had ever encountered such glory on his adventures. She had heard that his kind could grow legs and walk in it. And she was visibly excited at the thought of that story.
Hands pressed against the glass, she watched in silent amazement as she slowly crept toward the lodge.
A different bright pink pae was trudging up the pathways. This one had black splotches and yellow brushed along his skin as tho he had been painted with prettiest colors. But those colors were hard to see with what he was wearing. His body was covered in furs, large bulky furs on his torso and legs. Bundled and tied, his feet wore slippers made out of seal kin and fur, the bottoms well worn. The only thing visible was his hair and head.
His breath a giant puff of frost, he smiled. Tonight he would make a better impression than he had last time he came to one of these events. He had worn his best furs in hopes of presenting himself as a great hunter. Which he was. He had caught and tanned these hides himself. Sewed each one into the article of clothing. He was around of his fur suit. He just hoped others were as warm as he was.
He felt as tho he had finally come into his own. He felt more stable. And more comfortable in his own skin. Or maybe it was the fact that he was wearing enough furs to warm a small town that had him so peppy tonight.
Either way, this was the event to last a life time. Or rather a very frightening adventure in which to prove his prowess to the ladies.
Hibiscus sat in a cold gondola, her pretty golden feathers puffed out as the biting wind flew across her face. She was wearing a silk scarf and beaded shawl that she had wrapped around her waist in an effort to maintain warmth but unfortunately, the cold was a little more biting than she had anticipated. And she should be flying but apparently, the cold not only hurt her face but also her wings. She couldn't flap for longer than a minute in these conditions before her wings went numb. And numb wings meant loss of altitude.
As to why she was in a gondola and not already there, she had taken a trip out to the island, to attempt to reach her father and maybe, just maybe pester him a tiny bit. But he had been a no show. She had checked every feasible location and nothing. So she headed back. Only to find out she had forgotten the day and then she was redirected (by a very, very rude mellon, cheeky arse), and now she was now stuck in this god forsaken cold !!!
Her mother would kill her if she showed up to one of mistress Venus's party late. The nerve of it. She simply couldn't get out of sorts on today of all days.
A sudden yet dainty musical sound rung throughout the gondola as Hisbiscus suddenly sneezed. A look of horror crossed her face as a sudden realization that she couldnt escape this cold if she tried.
Oh.
No.
Her mother was most definitely going to maim her.
A portal slid open in the shadow of a gondola. Out of the portal, a mist slowly crept. But unlike normal, no other pae did instead, there was a murder of an arguement. A whisper of a scream or two. Then suddenly, like a cannon, out shot a whisp. Followed by a loud "and stay out!!!" before the portal suddenly blinked out of existence faster than it had ever blinked before.
The small purple ball of light flung itself at the closing portal, only to miss it by a hair's breath and slam into the side of the gondola with a much louder thud than one would think a tiny ball of light could make.
A tiny cacophany of what sounded like swearing came from the ball of light before it blinked into a full sized pae. If one could call it that. It was no bigger than the small pink from earlier.
The expression was pretty much the same as the small pink cat's tho. Defiant rage burned in his eyes and his hand rubbed his forehead with malice.
"That b***h!! How dare she...holy sh*t it's cold!! Hey you, buddy. Gotta scarf for a tiny lil wanker like me?" He asked the very confused mellon now staring at him over the gondola edge.
"No? Well, f**k a kumquat. Mind giving me a lift then?" He asked and then transplanted himself into the gondola without an answer.
Oh, this small teen boy looked a heartthrob. Starry hair flowing in the breeze. Pops of orange and white starlight twinkling throught his dark purple and black skin. But the mouth on this one could ruin that image in a heart beat.
He stared at the track they were taking before shivering and grabbing his shoulder. "Least they coulda done was give a bloke a jumper." He muttered to himself as he traveled.

Daisicle's Posts Mossy was a very happy bird on her first tag-team 'mission' of sorts since she and her sister and cousin had come of adulthood. It was time for the annual event - the 'collecting of toiletries' as her mom had put it. It was a mighty tradition that stemmed all the way from her grandmother's time, a festival that conferred all sort of small necessities that helped to sustain their comfortable living situation.
Towelettes, soaps... soaps and towelettes.
Did she mention towelettes and soaps?
There might have been more on that list, but Mossy had decidedly forgotten all of the rest!
Thank goodness Rosamin was here with her! It was a shame that Speckles hadn't wanted to come along, but she was busy in her own right. Auntie Saira had been working with this new thing called charcoal recently. She didn't really get it or really care to try to get it, but it was supposed to help them with getting more nice things from Breeheart. Mossy liked Breeheart. And she liked her bestest best friend Peony and her friendiest friend Ty who gave her yummy cookies. They were so silly.
Now, like any good bird, Mossy had tried to fly up to where they'd be staying only to find herself inexplicably lost. That wouldn't do anyone any good. Therefore, she and Rosamin had taken the luxury of riding the silly looking carrying things up. They weren't as comfy as her nest back home, but she did like how high they took her. As she looked around on her ascent, she couldn't help but notice all the other pae that looked just like the two of them! While the natural reaction should have been an immediate distaste for there presence, Mossy had not been raised in any semblance of a natural harpy manner.
Therefore, she was mostly excited to see others like herself. She'd only ever heard in stories that they'd existed outside of her family. Maika'i was working with his brothers- and sisters-in-arms to make sure everything in the lodge was running as smoothly as could be... or as hard as a spoiled brat could bring themselves to work. See, he really wasn't as motivated to do these sort of hard-working tasks when there were others that would do it for him with a few cute kitty movements.
And without the presence of his great Thunderbird to impress, well, did it really matter?
Rather than doing the work he was meant to do, he was casually grazing on the yummy treats at the buffet hall - if the 'guests' were allowed to eat as much as they wanted, why couldn't he?
That's right, he could.
The brightly colored Harpy had decided to leave the nest, so to speak on her very first mission. The objectives of said mission? Accompany Mossy, her cousin, to the Valentine's Bash that Venus is holding all the way up in the mountains and raid it for their toiletries. It seemed, from gossip that went around the family, that every year a Valentine's party had appeared, supplies were top-notched and sweet smelling and oh so fantastic; not to mention hard as hell to find find anywhere else. And that is why they are going, to put Rosamin in training for grabbing the stuff and getting out of there before the bad stuff happens. She was awkward, and kind of confused about the whole lovey-dovey event. Her adoptive mother, Saira, definitely didn't expressed any emotion that basically... well... emote as love in that sense. Nor did she expresses a fondness for her presence. Maybe she just needs a vacation, Rosamin knows she needs one herself to get away from her brash attitude lately.
"Oh, this is going to be so fun!" the young adult female squealed, clapping her hands as they made their way up the hand-cranking lifts. Given that they couldn't use their wings, which was bothersome, the scenery was still to die for and it was beautiful. However, nothing topped what she was about to see when she and her cousin, Mossy had entered the building. The outside was lit up, of course, but the inside was painted with colors and hearts and... is that food?! she mentally thought to herself excitedly.
Wee Laoise was, well, is a Seara and a very pretty one at that with glowing stripes going from head to the very edge of her tail. The youngling, now a teenager, had dreamed of a love like her parents, Aidan and Quadira, have and moons over their affection. This, of course, makes her brothers disgusted and because they're boys... she get teased, occasionally because of her infatuation with the notion of love. Time had went by, and she did not find someone she was remotely interested in. This had made her sad, but she was told that she would find someone that is just right for her some day, but that day is not any time soon, as her daddy would say. She is his little princess and no male is going to muck her up or make her cry over a heartbreak.
So, when she heard rumors of a romantic festival going on, or rather a party, she wanted to go and she knew what her parents would say. 'No', they would say. 'You're too young,' they would say. 'Bad things happen there' they would added before sending her off to busy herself with whatever she had on hand. This made her all the more stubborn about seeing it for herself, about love in physical form and in color. And a plan was hatched... she would sneak out while her parents were busy with their usual things, and her brothers weren't around to tattletale on her every move.
The time had come, the young teenager made a dash for it, past her parents, ducking out and then headed straight for the open waters. The cool refreshing water had reconfirmed that she was doing the right thing... but why does she feel a bit guilty? Maybe sneaking out when her parents said no? Maybe that is! She never done it before; but with any teenager, there comes a time when a young female need to rebel and Laoise believes this time is the time for her!
When the black and green Seara arrived, she happily swam into one of the water tanks so that she can join the other water pae'ils that is attending the event. She rubbed her hands, excited; it showed in the glowing strip down her body. |

As Eleora approached the base of the mountain, she took a deep breath. Her exhaled breath fogged up before her. Brrr. Looking towards the gondola ahead of her and how much further up it ascended she had a feeling that the warm clothes she had brought would not be warm enough for her petite body. Word from the cherubs of there being warmer clothes at the top brought her some relief.
With some extra urgency in her step, to get to that parka sooner, Eleora boarded the next gondola. As it rose up the mountainside and the flutter watched the beautiful scenery through the window, she felt her burdens slide off of her shoulders. Some time away from Jael would be just what she desperately needed. The harpy child she had adopted so long ago that she was now grown, consumed much of Eleora's energy. It could be difficult to get away from the strange child, so Eleora had snuck out in the night to make time for herself. This would be her own little mountainside adventure and getaway.
After reaching the top, Eleora paused to marvel at the fact that the gondola had taken her all that way, and powered by these adorable, tiny, overworked creatures. Then, she quickly made her way towards the ski shop.

Jael closed her eerie eyes lifted her nose, and took in a long drag of the air. Her predator nature could smell her mother far in the distance. Mother had tried to leave her, but she wouldn't get far. Jael would be with her forever. Jael moved slowly through the trees, almost like a zombie. She was in no hurry, mother would not get away.
As Jael passed the tree line and entered the clearing at the base of the mountain, she spotted the cherubs. Her mouth salivated, but she was fixed on one thing alone. Jael was confused as she reached an abrupt end to her mother's scent where a gondola had once been, but Jael didn't know that. Where was mama? Panic filled her as her bird's eyes combed the mountainside. Far in the distance in one of these strange vessels, Jael spotted the flash of purple that she knew was her mother. "Mama..." she said. She stepped forward to begin her climb up the mountainside, when one of the tasty little cherub yelled at her.
"Ma'am, you need to step back. The gondola is returning."
Jael didn't even glance his way, focused in on mama, she wasn't going to lose her. But she did manage to do what he asked. She would board the next vessel. Jael stepped back, and stood in place, swaying eerily as her eyes remained fix on the tiny purple speck. When, the gondola returned, stopping just inches before her form, Jael mindlessly stepped on, and stood there silently, swaying as the gondola climbed the mountain.
At the bottom of the mountain, the tasty cherub shook his head, these parties always seemed to draw in a few crazies.

 Arc kept his wings tucked tightly to his back as he and Lyn waited for the lift that would take them to this year's Venus Day festivities. "It's c-cold!" he said and shivered. He'd brought a sweater and had it on but holy crap. He was definitely going to get some of those wing sweaters the announcer was talking about. "Are you excited, Lyn?" he asked his friend. They'd been coming to these things together for a few years now, and maybe...at least for Arc, it's started to become different than just picking up chicks and having fun being 'single.' Not that he'd gathered the courage to tell his friend, anyway.
 Noelani watched the other Pae and the cherubs head toward the gondolas with a bored expression on her face. She felt the cold, but it didn't bother her one bit. With one hand, she dragged her suitcase behind her and with the other, she stuck a blueberry lollipop in her mouth. Why had she bothered to come to this thing? She supposed it had sounded like fun at the time she signed up. But so far? Blah, blah, blah. And it was in the mountains this year? Ugh. She should have gone when it was a cruise.
  Feng Kai scoffed at all the Pae who looked like they were cold. He supposed they weren't fire birds, but still. They should have dressed warmer. He fluttered his wings and crossed his arms over his chest as he turned behind him to look at his son, Zhong. "Think we'll have any fun here?" And by fun, he wondered how many sexy harpy ladies would throw themselves at them while they were here. He grinned at that thought. He supposed eventually he should settle down with a single lady, but until he found the one he wanted it was just too much fun to play the field. It was something he'd passed on to his sons.
Zhong smirked as he looked around. There were plenty of hot ladies here for the festivities, not just harpies. Oh, they were definitely going to have plenty of fun here. "I think it was a good idea to come here, Dad," he said, turning halfway around as his eyes tracked the swaying booty of a particularly attractive female. "Oh, hell yes," he said and bit his lip. "Definitely a good idea." He was going to get into so much trouble with so many women while they were here. He rubbed his hands together in anticipation.

 Ea gripped a length of her hair as she waited for one of the water gondolas up the mountain. She was so nervous; why did she do this? Oh. Right. She was lonely. But how did she think she was going to fix that here of all places? Wasn't this supposed to be a place for couples? But Venus was the goddess of love, wasn't she? Ugh. She had been way over thinking this. But! She was here now. She was determined to have a good time, even if she ended up by herself the whole vacation. Yep. Definitely going to have a good time.

Oisin exited the gondola at the top with a whistle and a wink at the mellon. Who, at this point, just refused to look at him. But that didnt stop his cheerful swagger as he wandered away. No. No. No. There were plenty more where that came from.
His eyes lit up on some purple winged broad and he gave a lascivious smile and poofed himself back into a ball of a light and attempted to float over to her. Which worked until he was about a foot near her. Then suddenly didnt. To her, it would seem as though a tiny ball showed up, hovered, and then poofed into a small manchild.
To him, he arrived, every bit as debonair as the book heroes he read about. Looking up at the young winged dame, he smiled at her as thought she were a heavenly.light and simply said "If I told you that you had a fabulous body, would you hold it against me?"

Rhyol glanced nervously around as he made his way up the gondola. This had been perhaps the most daring thing he had ever done in his entire life. He had heard all about these Venus parties from his older brothers. He also knew for a fact that a Venus party was where his brother, Chal, had met his wife, Alma. That alone was, enough to entice him, but the food and the fancy drinks? Those had their draw as well. Of course, mom and dad would never approve of such shenanigans, and he couldn't trust any of his siblings to not discourage his sneaking out, and some of them might even rat him out. So the teenager had snuck out on his own.
There were so many grown ups here though. The boy attempted to flatten his boyish haircut, and tried to stand tall and puff out his chest so that he would look older. But it was a hard act to pull off when he felt intimidated. He really wished he hadn't gone all on his own. Maybe his older brother, Hemi, would have gone along with it... he was regretting not asking him, but it was too late for it now.
As the cherubs talked about checking in, Rhyol looked nervous again. Should he check in? Was he even allowed to be here? He marched over to check in, in a sad attempt to look like he belonged here and in the deepest voice he could muster he checked in. As he was almost done speaking his voice cracked and the boy attempted to cover it up with a cough. "Heh, this cold... Something else, huh? Uh thanks, have a good day." He said deeply. Yes, the weather. Grownups loved to talk about the weather.
After successfully checking in, despite the strange look the cherub gave him, Rhyol quickly made his way into the lodge to find the famous food, and maybe the rumored girls.
