User Image Although Yunara certainly was not used to being the center of attention, her infant queen dragon seemed determined to thrust her directly into it. She marveled that before today she would have been panicking under such scrutiny, but with Ardoxshoth at her side, how could she be anything but smitten? Smitten, of course, with the sweet yet commanding presence that had so swiftly insinuated herself into Yunara's life and heart.

It was amazing. They breathed together. There didn't seem to be enough hours in the day to marvel over how splendid her bondmate was, or how perfectly matched they were. It was truly unbelievable. She'd heard Impression described so many times over, yet had never truly understood it. It wasn't like Impressing a flit - as wonderful as her three lovelies were, the bond between herself and them just was not as ... all consuming. How else could one describe it?

Speaking of consuming, can we consume some of this? Ardoxshoth asked her rider, putting her little paws up on a table. "No, sweetling, that wouldn't taste very good at all, and you'd probably have a stomachache," Yunara said, gently reminding the queen of the delicious food that she had eaten earlier, and of how she had said that she always wanted food to be like that. This, certainly, would not be like the chopped up meat that her darling dragonet favored. There was a palpable pause, and then Ardoxshoth came down from the table.

It was no surprise to Yunara that the little queen was a little put out. If it's not good, then why are you eating it? she sulked, lashing her tail. "Because I need different food than you do, baby. Besides... if I'm eating it, it's already yours, right?" At this, at least, the hatchling seemed satisfied. It was true that anything that was her rider's was automatically hers. Then you should eat everything on this table. ... Oh... oh dear.
