Weyrling's Wing Weyrling D'rok of Bronze Khazariath HP: 21/28 Status Effect: -- ; 1 Save Held XP: Target Accuracy: 0 Flame Length: 0 General Stamina: 0 General Agility: 0 Between Accuracy: 0 Pain Resilience: 0 Instinct: 0 Luck: 0
Round 1: Day 1: 3/3 Day 2: 1/3
Quote: It’s all the little stuff that is causing you problems! One minute your airspace is clear, another minute you find it full of Thread. Where is your cover!? If you’re a bronze or brown rider, you can’t help but feel that the smaller colors aren’t doing their jobs in trying to keep your dragon safe. If you’re a white, green, or blue rider, you almost start to suspect the larger color you’re covering is just using you as some meat shield and not bothering to flame like they should. Whether it’s actually true, or paranoia from all the stress, you can feel your irritation levels rise. Aren’t you supposed to be on a team and work together? Ugh! Damage -3 HP.
Thread could build up fast! It wasn't large clumps, thankfully, but D'rok couldn't help but shoot a dark thought out that while he and Khazariath had been doing their due diligence and flaming every clump in their airspace while keeping a headknob out for any orders from Z'von to pass on, clearly someone else hadn't!
He'd kick himself mentally for it the moment it passed.
No, I need to be more mindful of our airspace. Are you alright? he asked the bronze, who sent him back a wave of reassurance before moving on to catch the next clump. Stay alive, stay invaluable. We'll not fall out of the sky this day. D'rok wouldn't jinx it.

Weyrling's Wing Weyrling T'roi of Bronze Destrieth HP:24/28 Status Effect: -- XP: 1 Target Accuracy: 0 Flame Length: 0 General Stamina: 0 General Agility: 0 Between Accuracy: 0 Pain Resilience: 0 Instinct: 0 Luck: 0
Round 1 Day 2: 1/3
Quote: 4. You're suddenly having a moment of panic. This is real. This is too real. You are now face-to-face with the deadly menace that has killed so many. The silver strands wind and twist and reach out for you, and you suddenly find yourself filled with doubt and worry. Can you do this? Why are you up here? What about all those that failed? How can you do this for the rest of your life -- a life that could well be cut short!?! Thankfully, while you are having a moments panic, your dragon seems to know what to do--especially when the lurch to the side and dive to flame down a few patches of Thread. While this doesn't really calm you, and you're still sweating bullets beneath that helmet, you do begin to focus more on sweeping up the Thread. [rolled 1 time] Destrieth banked sharply, just missing a large clump of Thread, and T'roi found himself staring up close and personal with the silver menace as they whipped past it. Suddenly the weyrling bronzerider was filled with a sense of panic. This wasn't something that only appeared in songs and stories -- this was REAL, dangerously so. He looked at the relatively mild Threadscore on Destrieth's foreleg, his blood running cold. If that had been any worse...
His heart was pounding now as the fear and panic began to spiral out of control. He could die doing this! Or worse, Destrieth could die and he'd be completely alone in the world, horribly and utterly alone, the subject of quiet pity and hushed whispers. Why had he agreed to do this?
Destrieth bugled beneath him, chasing the Thread that had come so close and charring it with a vengeance. Mine, I need more firestone! That snapped T'roi out of his panic; instinctively he reached into the firestone bag and fed a chunk to his bronze lifemate. His heart was still pounding and he was sweating now, but he could carry on. He had to, for the sake of Pern!

Weyrling's Wing Weyrling D'rok of Bronze Khazariath HP: 21/28 Status Effect: -- ; 2 Save Held - using 1 for Arwainth XP: Target Accuracy: 0 Flame Length: 0 General Stamina: 0 General Agility: 0 Between Accuracy: 0 Pain Resilience: 0 Instinct: 0 Luck: 0
Round 1: Day 1: 3/3 Day 2: 3/3
Quote: Firestone run! A weyrlings primary purpose, after all. Roll 1 D100. Evens are successful tosses that make their mark. Odds are botched tosses. It is assumed you make a successful throw afterwards but your pride is wounded. Additional flavor text is as as follows:
Another call for firestone - I've found them. Let's go. Khazariath sent the image along to D'rok, allowing the young man to focus on it before he pressed his dragon between, trying to not focus on how terrifying it was to actually make such a tight leap when everybody was moving.
Maybe that's why he botched the first toss he made, biting his lower lip in frustration before he made the next toss - this time much more successfully, though D'rok noted the way the rider had to twist to catch it. Hopefully they didn't wrench anything.
The errand done, it was time to drop back to the Queen's Wing.
It seemed they'd returned just in time at that. Khazariath spotted Vardoth veering a touch too hard into Arwainth's airspace, just as he noticed the clump of Thread nearby. With a hard flap of his wings he pushed forward, flaming down the offending clump to ash before getting clear himself.
You're clear, Arwainth, move freely! he bid.

Weyrling's Wing Weyrling T'roi of Bronze Destrieth HP:24/28 Status Effect: -- ; Self-Sacrifice Damage Save XP: 1 Target Accuracy: 0 Flame Length: 0 General Stamina: 0 General Agility: 0 Between Accuracy: 0 Pain Resilience: 0 Instinct: 0 Luck: 0
Round 1 Day 2: 2/3
Quote: 5-6. Your adrenaline is pumping and you feel fit to fight! Whatever fears or worries you have, you’re absolutely ready to take the world by storm. Your dragon wheels and dives, and you wind up successfully flaming some strands. Of course, you also find yourself suddenly dangling in some mighty precarious positions as your dragon avoids getting smacked by a tangle of Thread. The straps you so valiantly worked on are the only thing keeping you from plummeting to your death. Let’s hope Thread doesn’t latch onto those thick leathers… and if they do, that your backup security straps work! Thankfully, as the fight continues, you focus on what’s important--flaming down Thread. If brown or bronze, you play a bit of hero. Knowing your dragon should be able to take a hit, you can Self-Sacrifice. Quote a wingmate and take their damage instead. While it may hurt you, it also means you were able to save the day. T'roi quickly got back into the game, adrenaline coursing through him now instead of panic. Destrieth suddenly executed a roll to avoid being scored again, and the bronzerider found himself dangling upside down briefly by his straps. Once more he was glad he took the time to inspect them before flying today. As they righted themselves, the bronze weyrling flamed another clump of Thread. That was what was important, T'roi nodded to himself: flaming Thread.
