General Rules
Be polite and respectful. Show good sportsmanship. You may not win what you want, but be happy for those that do! Let's spread some good vibes! Questions should be directed towards the host of the contest or sale you're participating in. Please be aware that those running the game might have to make a call on something they didn't go over in the rules. Please respect the host's ruling. Please do not use post styles when submitting contest entries. Please be mindful that mistakes do happen when lists are being compiled. If you see your name missed, please notify the host prior to prize rolling in order to be included in the list. If a mistake is made during rolling or during announcements of winners, please do not expect compensation to be given for the error, outside of remedying it for future rolls. It is entirely up to the colorist/staff if they choose to compensate for a goof, and compensation is an exception, not the rule. Mules may not be used to increase a user's chances of winning. A user may pass on any wins not listed on the front page, such as surprise prizes (including premade prizes that are listed but not shown), consolation prizes, and additional colorists rolling from a thread. They must accept any non-announced prizes within 48 hours, or it will be assumed they have passed on the win. A user may provide preference lists for any contest that offers multiple prizes that are distributed at the same time, with pets listed earlier indicating a higher preference. They may exclude pets they are not interested in. A user may not back out of a contest, prize, or sale once they've entered or added the pet to their preference list. However, we would appreciate it if you let hosts know when you are no longer eligible for a prize (e.g. when you've hit your cap from a separate contest). Caps
A single user is allowed to win only one from each area: Freebie, Paid Raffle, and Auction. This means the most one user can walk away with is 1 Freebie Soquili, 1 Freebie Familiar, 1 Paid Raffle (Soquili or Familiar), 1 Auction Soquili, and 1 Auction Familiar. Freebies count for the month of October. If the win is co-owned or given away, the win applies to both the winning owner and the receiving owner. Familiars cannot be co-owned. If the win was proxied, the win applies only to the receiving owner. Trades
Please do not discuss gold/platinum publicly. This includes comments on your own or another user's funds, as well as comments on a user's participation in the paid raffle or auction. All event-related trades must sent to the applicable mule: Soquili-Activities for raffles and Soquili Auctions for auctions. If a raffle trade has not been initiated by the time the listkeeper reaches your post or within 12 hours of your post (whichever comes later), your order will be skipped. If an auction trade has not been sent within 48 hours, your win will be nullified and you may be banned from future auctions. Staff Participation Staff receiving an Event Freebie (an additional opt-in compensation offered to staff who contribute to the event) are not eligible to participate in the event for prizes, outside of custom or breeding slots. However, they may proxy for other users. Please be aware that these staff cannot be given raffle tickets or gifted event wins, including co-ownerships.
The list of staff who intend to claim an Event Freebie are below; because this is an opt-in feature, the list may continue to grow, and we ask that you confirm Event Freebie status with any unlisted staff member before offering them an event pet or raffle tickets.
Staff who do not receive an Event Freebie may participate in the event, although they are excluded from winning judged contests and pets they have colored.

I've a trick or two up my sleeve Keantha || Preference List: 4, 1, 5, 3, 2||
Ingredients: - 1 dash of children's laughter - 1 scoop of moonbeams - 1 sprinkle of starlight - just a pinch of shadows
Instructions on how to brew it: Using a crystal jar, pour your moonbeams inside. Find a happy young child and bring them joy so that their laughter will infuse with the waiting moonbeams. Once the beams begin to glow, add your pinch of shadows and stir carefully with a long silver spoon. You want them just barely swirling before adding the sprinkle of starlight. Let it steep for a full cycle of the moon then it is ready. It should look like this when you are finished.
What does your potion do exactly?: While the taste is..a bit odd, it is not unpleasant as one might suspect. It would remind the taster perhaps of some forbidden sweet they had as a child but never able to quiet remember it...oh well. This potion makes daylight look like night, the sky darkening and filling with stars that twinkle like diamonds and shoot across the sky. But be careful, in this evening gloam, it also allows for the fair folk to be seen...and they do not always like that. So be cautious while exploring the day-night.

I've a trick or two up my sleeve
The Form: Nyx Queen of Darkness || Preference List: 421||
Ingredients:
Ice from the realm of Niflheim, Hel's Dominion One black cat One book of Grimm's Brothers Fairtyales Three drops of blood from a Dame Blanche for the Mother, Maid, and Crone A jar of grave dirt from a striga A tuft of hair from a loup-garou's first transformation One cup of wine (not to drink) from the fair folk One cast iron pot
Combine the ice of Niflheim with your favorite drink and snuggle with a black cat.(If you don't have one, you should get one). Then burn a book of Grimm's Brother's Fairytales like the firewood it is (a horribly inaccurate book with a narrative driven by the times and not the truth of the supernatural).
Now that you have a cat and a drink, and you've burned a book of inflammatory "fairytales" you are ready to begin.
Instructions on how to brew it: The wine and blood should be combined in the cast iron pot and set directly in the flames of your already burning fire. The concoction should be mixed until the tuft of hair from the loup-garou has disintegrated completely. At the apex of the full moon, the bottle of grave dirt is to be spread in a small crescent outline. The potion is then poured into the crescent symbol appearing to make a blood moon before the perimeter of grave dirt soaks up the residue. At this time you should have finished your drink and soothed your cat (if the cat is hissing and spitting, this could go terribly wrong). The potion essence will then be inhaled causing 18 hours of sleep. You will awake to find yourself restarting a new and better year (unless of course you could not calm the cat!).
What does your potion do exactly? Tugs the strings of fate until undone to find yourself beginning the year anew in different, better circumstances.
Side Effects: Instant 18 hours sleep, Compassion, Integrity (which hardly seem side effects at all) uncontrollable dancing at midnight for one week, and the smell of lemon verbana everywhere. You also will briefly lose your sense of taste for two weeks as though you have eaten grass.
The potion is permanent and is to be drunk during a full moon on the night of Samhain. Coincidentally, this rare event occurs on October 31, 2020 and will not happen again for quite some time
Historical note of last brewer: 1944 was on a collision course to set up for the invasion of New York, upon use of the potion the year began anew and the Allied forces won the war by the end of the following year.

I've a trick or two up my sleeve

Username || Caitlyn Hellstorm Preference List: 4, 2, 1, 5, 3 ||
Ingredients:
2 ounces of young moss (must be picked at 3 AM in light of full moonlight)
 Pinch of pixie dust
10 strands of fur from a year old cat
vial of moonlight flower’s nectar r
nose of a witch
30 drops of blood from a pure virgin
Instructions on how to brew it:
This is a very long process and it have to start in September for it in order for it to process better.

Step one: Gather the moss from the lake up north where it is constantly exposed to the moonlight. It have to be very specific time and specific moon phase or it will backfire on you. When it's 3 in morning and the moon is full and luminous, mediate your intentions in front of the moss then use your hands to gently peel them off while thanking them for the sacrifice. Store them in a vial with some soil and water so it will stay alive during the trip back home

Step two: In order to acquire pixie dust, you have to gain their trust by supplying them with sweets and nectar. That will take approximately two weeks to do that. After you get the amount you need, put it in a vial and bring it back home to sprinkle it all over the moss.

Step three: Moonlight flowers and witches goes hand in hand with each other. You typically will find an aging witch laying among them, waiting for her body to dissolve into stardust. Sit with the dying witch and comfort her. Right before she passes away, inform her about your intention and get the consent before you cut her nose off. After that is done, grab a handful of moonlight flowers. Bring out your mortar and pestle, start grinding them together. It should bring out that purplish liquid with a scent of magic.

Step four: Combine all of the ingredients you gotten so far gradually in a cast iron cauldron while chanting the inaction you want to use to trick other living beings. Make sure to leave all of the windows open so the Mother Gaia can provide some of her magical help. When it starts to become little slushy, that’s when it is ready. Remove it and pour them in long tube vials up to 3/4 full.

Step five: Now it’s almost time to finish the potion, you still need 10 strands of fur from a cat which should be easy if you do have one. Just brush the cat until the comb is full and count out to 10 strands exactly. More than that, it could transform someone into a cat and that person would be stuck that way. After you gathered the fur, put it in a cauldron for the next step.

Step six: This step is a very crucial to this potion making. The person have to be 100% virgin which means she or he is never touched sexually before. This step wouldn’t be easy but you have to siphon blood (30 drops exactly) from a virgin. After that is done, pour it on top of 10 strands of fur and stir it together. It will send out a reddish puff of smoke, don’t fret.. its normal! Pour it into a small container and store it next to those half completed potions in vials.

Now, POTION MAKING TIME-

After following all of the steps, it is really crucial that you do it on the night of full moon to maximize the full potential of moon energy. Bring your vials and cauldron outside and lay down amethyst (which will offer emotional protection and spirituality guidance), aquamarine (which will offer courage, luck and inner peace), emerald (energy and cleanse), Opal (inspiration) and ruby (love, courage and energy) in alternating order while invoking the circle.

Before you proceed with this, you need to invoke the power of goddess to lend you energy, strength and guidance. After you feel her presence in it, light the fire under the cauldron and pour half-completed potion vials (one by one) while visualizing what you want this potion to achieve while stirring clockwise in slow motion. It will look like a purple slush but don’t fret! It is normal! After you poured all of those vials in, take a step back and allow the moonlight to bathe the potion.

When the potion starts to become more light purple and little bit more liquid, that’s when you pour in the mixture of cat fur and blood of virgin in it and stir it COUNTER-clockwise to increase the potency. You will know when its done when it starts to emit bubbles into air.

Leave the concoction alone until new moon phase.

On the full moon in the month of October, your potion is ready! Cleanse yourself from negative energy or thoughts before you step back out to the cauldron. Close your eyes and send out thanks to all of those living beings who sacrificed some of their precious things for me. Using a ladle, gently scoop the concoction up and pour it in a small containers with with midnight blue ribbons tied into a bow. Store it in cool and dark place until you are ready to use it!

What does your potion do exactly?:

After the potion is administered orally, the target would immediately taste magic (think of pop rocks) exploding in the mouth with aftertaste of mud. Not pleasant, I know. The said target would feel all warm and flush at first (and if potion is done wrong, cat like features would start transforming the said target) and would fall asleep for over few days.

When the target finally comes out of magic-induced sleep, all of their senses would increase 10x more. There will be confusion, disorientation and headaches. After being accustomed to it, the target would be able to enjoy those temporary heightened senses for two weeks before it fades away

Side effects:
Nausea
Headaches
Irritation
 a**l seepage
 Confidence boost

I've a trick or two up my sleeve
Username: Sleet Tempest Snape|| Preference List: 4,5,2,1,3 || Ingredients: 7 hairs from a sphinx - taken willingly. 1 ounce of blood from a banshee Vocal cords of a siren - the more the better 3 hairs from a veela 2 cups of water 3 drops of mermaid tears
Instructions on how to brew it: Bring the water to a boil in a silver cauldron then add the sphinx hairs along with the hairs from a veela. Stir five times clockwise before adding in the vocal cords and blood. Mix slowly for two minuets, clockwise. Let simmer for five minuets before turning the heat off and add the mermaid tears once cooled. Stir three times clockwise and it's done. What does your potion do exactly?: side effects, how long it lasts, any weird after taste? Stuff like that. This potion is for the voice of a singer - one which can move people to tears, shatter glass, bring people joy...ect. It should be milky with a shimmery sheen to it. Thin, rather than thick, in nature it goes down easy and gives a slight warming to the throat. With a slight floral taste, which differs for each person, this potion lasts five hours and can leave a persons voice a bit horse after use.
