Name: Zosia {I'm going with female-identifying regardless bc that's what's speaking to me!}
Personality: Zosia is a kind and gentle mare, and absolutely obsessed with the living. An outcast in her own right, she realizes that it is odd for her to long for childbirths (not her own, mind you, but others'!) and blooming flowers rather than death and decay. But she doesn't care. Zosia feels love in her heart for her siblings and mother, but does not understand them, and does not care to.

She is typically soft-spoken, but gets louder when she gets excited - and she is quite excitable. Humble and selfless, she appeals to her Unicorn blood in a way that her mother does not. At all points in the day (and even during the night), Zosia feels her heart thrumming inside of her, almost too big for her chest, she has so much love and empathy for the world. She's quite precious.

Bonus Question: Zosia will, eventually, set off on her own in an effort to find her father. How that goes is up to plots/RP with Elixir, but I envision her either choosing to live alongside him for a period of time or meeting him and having a sort of "thanks but no thanks" response and setting off on her own, depending on the finer points of Gaius' personality and his relation to the children. In the end, I envision her becoming the healer of some herd that treasures the living and life just as much as she does. She doesn't seek the herd out initially, but while traveling on her own ends up viciously attacked by an evil Soquili, and searches for a herd that values both life writ large and her own to aid her in recovery. Then she'll settle down there for good, giving back in the way she knows best.

Personality: Cunning, calculated, mysterious, and forlorn.

Bonus Question: This Soquili will seek out the sire first for questioning on origins, abandonment, and whereabouts of the dam. If there are no further family mysteries to explore, they would deem it proper to introduce the adopted parent and accompanied quirky familiar fox. Weighing the options for a time, until either deciding to stay with the birth father to catch up on other things, or strike on their own for a time before returning to the herd their adopted parent comes from to serve a more noble purpose.

Name: Cocytus (Male); Nenia (Female)
Personality: Everyone has a place in this world. Whether it is to protect or perish, to build or destroy, all living beings serve a purpose. So it has been and so it shall always be. What that purpose is, well, that can be difficult to discern. Some never come to realize what their place in life is. Wandering around aimlessly from day to day, bemoaning the meaning of existence and why they could possibly have been brought into the realm of the living. Cocytus/Nenia never had that issue. From their very birth, they realized where their fate lay. Life was given to death. Their path amongst the living overshadowed by the macabre whims of their mother. Each of them- parent and sibling alike- played a particular role in their dance between the living and the dead. Cordelia to guide the weak to their demise. Cassius/Coco to take the lead as heir apparent. Icarus/Fiona to lend aid in the finishing moments. Theirs were the difficult tasks at hand, requiring the strength and resolve to remove a soul from this realm. But for Cocytus/Nenia, their role was not quite so gruesome. Their part was as bearer of the soul from one plane to the next. The wailing cries of terror and pain were theirs to quiet and soothe. Even as the victim saw their demise, Cocytus/Nenia would be there to quell their dread, lulling them to eternal slumber with their voice.

Their voice was as a balm to a quaking soul. With it, they could drown out the shrill cries with melodies of peace. It was as if they would take the wails unto themselves and transmute them into entrancing lullabies. They would sing until the end. Until the last vestiges of spirit were gone, carried off into the next life. They would watch and they would wait till then. That was their duty, their honor. A small part in the grand scheme, but it was theirs to perfect and enjoy. The laments of the “blessed ones-” as Cocytus/Nenia referred to them- were theirs alone to relish in as only they knew how.

Bonus Question:
Cocytus/Nenia will come to perfect their role within the family. They will begin to develop their songs and voice based on the past souls they have witnessed leave this earth. Each and every song developed will have a significance and unique timber to it. They will come to learn how their haunting music interacts with the victims of their family, noting which are best at calming and aiding in releasing the spirit from its mortal bindings. Cocytus/Nenia will come to understand that death is necessary for life as is life necessary for death, and they will find their own peace in the knowledge that their gifts helped in that cycle.

It will be rare for Cocytus/Nenia to stray far from the family. They may travel long distances when needed, but they prefer to stay amidst the familiarity of their siblings and mother. However, there may come a time when circumstances dictate that Cocytus/Nenia leave that comfort for something else. They will try extremely hard not to allow such a thing to happen though. As macabre as their family is, they ARE family. One that thrives.

In terms of the father, Cocytus/Nenia will not actively seek him out. They know they have a father. They know that he was not meant to raise them with their mother. They understand his place was not here with them. It is clear to them that the fates had other plans for his life, and that his purpose was elsewhere, away from the boundaries they straddle. Yes, they are curious what he is like, but they trust in the fates. If it is meant that they should one day meet, then Cocytus/Nenia believe it will happen when the fates allow. Until then, they keep an image of their father tucked in the recesses of their thoughts.

The notion of a mate, even if for a fling, will be a confusing notion for Cocytus/Nenia. They never truly ponder what a relationship outside of the family would consist of. The meaning of love is not the same as the meaning of life. They are separate concepts that Cocytus/Nenia cannot quite reconcile. They find it especially difficult when they come to realize that love itself can be varied and change based on any given relationship. The love a friend (also something they do not have experience with) does not have the same intensity as the love of a parent nor does it feel the same as that of a lover. This will place Cocytus/Nenia on uncertain footing as they encounter emotions they have never considered before. They will have to explore the concept of love and how it fits into their world of death.

When not playing their role in their family’s doings, Cocytus/Nenia will spend their time learning a separate craft. They will come to find that they are quite adept at crafting useful items. Bones, leaves, twine, wood, hair- no matter what is at hand, Cocytus/Nenia discovers they can visualize and create with ease. Their chosen ward (I.e. their familiar; possibly a raccoon or mouse) makes the process exceedingly simple with their nimble fingers.

Name: Fraz-Urb'luu ( Either gender )
Personality: Deception is something that this little prince/ss loves to do. They are usually a quiet, calculated being. But they know how to twist words to where anyone would believe them. They are keen on doing just that, wanting to force others to do their bidding and serve them in some way, shape, or form. They love the way people react with fear and respect to them, and it makes Fraz far too excited to imagine. They're somewhat of a cruel creature, though in the same breath will talk sweet as sin to those around them. Their loyalty lies within their Mother, and their Mother alone. All other beings have not pinged on their radar. They don't mind helping their Mother in getting people to be killed, and thinks it's amusing to watch as well.

Bonus Question: Fraz will linger closer to their Mother's territory, but kind of set up a place of their own. That way if they need to/want to go back to where their Mother is, they can, as well as have some privacy.

Name: Nekane (male) Dubheasa (female)
Personality: A dark, beautiful soq who endures and enjoys sorrow and hardship. They are inspired by their mothers call of death and wishes to be a guide to death one day as well.

Bonus Question: They will stick with Cordelia, wanting to be their apprentice/minion, helping their mother lead others to their final destination through their beauty and pretending to be injured/weak/in need of help.
