Tilikum was beyond relieved when he was rescued and released back to the Hotel. In a flash, he slipped into the waters - since now he was no longer attached to that bizarre cart! And he was going to stay there until the end of the party, then go straight home!
But as he watched from the waters edge, the female that had previously approached him was calling to him again! They...still wanted to be friends? Even after that second they started talking to him they all got transported to the maze of horrors?
In a fluid motion, the orca pae swam towards them. One dance couldn't hurt right? "Oh, alright. Sure." He stiffled a smile, trying not to see too eager.

The angel happily followed her pulls, feeling light on his feet for the first time all night. Maybe that was due to his empty stomach, or maybe it was due to Monroe's hand on his. "I really love you, you know." Gray spoke so softly under his breath. He didn't really get all gushy a lot. Wasn't his strong suit or style. But just because he didn't say his feelings, didn't mean he didn't have them.
When they reached the tables he grabbed a plate to start piling on food. Some meat, some bread, a teeny tiny bit of vegetables, and of course fish. He had gained quite the appreciation for fish since hanging out at Monroe's village.

Hymn laughed merrily at the question, "As the god of Weddings it's my job to know! It is my duty on Venus' own day to ensure only the most prompt of service to the loyal.” He gave them both a big cheesy grin before he realized the hesitation. Wait, was this really happening right now? Oh, man, they usually jumped at the chance.
Shoot, he should have stuck to his old ways. He thought spicing things up would be a fun twist, but who knew there would be some so unwilling! He shuffled the weight of the crossbow in an anxious moment. Should he just go ahead and shoot them and move on? It had always worked in the past- tried and true.
“Alright, I see that this isn’t as serious as it seemed just moments ago. I’ll be going then…” he trailed off, starting to float his way back upwards towards the surface, still debating if once he broke the surface of the water if he should send a little gift back their way. He had to keep up the good work, right!? Oh man, Venus would be so mad…

Kelebek made a little noise as the god turned away, and instinctively reached out and grabbed his wrist. "Oh, no!" she exclaimed softly. She glanced over at Hjortur. They were ready for this. She knew it, he knew it. "We were just surprised, is all." She offered a smile to the golden god. "I think we expected to...." she trailed off with a bit of a shrug. She didn't know what she'd expected, actually. Naiads didn't exactly get married all too often. She knew that this was out of the ordinary, but not unheard of. "I mean...I guess I expected to celebrate with our families. But no reason we can't do that afterward, when we get home!" she finished brightly, with a wider smile. "We Naiads do love a party." Even Kelebek, who was typically somewhat reserved, couldn't quite resist the pull of a good celebration.
As he glanced over at Kel, the happiness filling his chest reaffirmed what he'd stated previously. There was no way this feeling was false - he didn't want to think that way. Frankly, he was terrified of what would come. Frightened that he might disappoint her again and again. But she already knew that, and she'd already accepted his future mistakes.
He hoped neither of them would regret this, but that was for the future. Hopefully, it would be a pass they never had to swim over.
He looked back at Hymn to nod as he squeezed Kels hand. "You have to admit it was a bit sudden." A smile. "But I think we can always celebrate just the same whether it happens now or later. So why not now?" Part of him couldn't fully rid himself of his lingering worries, but he wouldn't have to handle them alone anymore.

Hymn was pleasantly surprised when the female stopped him. Oh! So he hadn’t been wrong! He smiled and patted the hand holding him there affectionately, “Of course, of course! Most here are quick to jump the arrow, its sweet to see the seriousness you all are taking for this.” He took her hand and tucked it into Hjortur’s before turning them to face one another. One so they could look deeply into each other’s eyes, but second so they wouldn’t be freaked out by him loading a crossbow they couldn’t see. Little things.
“It is a beautiful thing you all have chosen to do today. This commitment you are ready to take part in, but this about you and not me. So, take a moment to look on the one you love. Soak in those features and the memories of your journey to this point. The love, hardship, experiences. Then, from your heart, speak words of love and commitment to one another. These will be the words that bind your hearts together and will complete the ceremony.”
As the two speak, Hymn will take the chance to shoot them with the soul binding arrow. With this arrow their souls have now become one. They’d feel a deep seated connection blossoming between them, and as they continue the relationship their minds and souls will feel the difference over the coming years. They have now gained the benefits of marriage, but most of all, have taken the chance to declare their love in a way that many don’t. It is a time of celebration!
And as such, Hymn will now quietly slip away to allow the couple to have their moment alone since this is a special moment for just the couple. Congrats!!
Persephone pulled the apple by its stem up from Venus' hand. "I know just the place for this," she said with a grin. A certain 3-headed guard dog should be sufficient security. Even if Eris were to escape the apple, she would still be stuck in Avernus because once a pae goes there, they can't come back. With some exceptions of course. But that's a story for another day.
Persephone winked at Adonis and gently put a hand on her Kave's shoulder. "Girls, let's return. You can travel to Dolandor to visit your new friends after Venus' festivities have ended." What she did not say was that she didn't want to chance her daughters to be caught up in Venus' party.
"Venus, I am glad you are alright." She said over her shoulder. The shadows once more gathered to create the pitch-black portal. "Until next year."
And with that, Persephone was gone from the mortal plan until October, when she returns for Adonis.
She noticed that they had started a friendly chatter with Venus' girls and her heart melted a little. They were so cute and she was happy they were making friends. It can be lonely sometimes in the underworld. "You can stay if you like, but don't stay past the end of the party. Mortals can be ... amoral." She, of course, was referring to the hedonistic mating ritual that tended to follow-up Venus' Ball. It is Venus' fault of course, but they are weak enough to succumb to the enchantments. Persephone didn't know if her daughters or the Furies would be susceptible, but she'd rather not find out.
Kaveiria said her goodbyes to her half-sisters and Calliope then followed her mother through the portal.

With the festivities beginning to wind down (or perhaps wind up if one were so inclines), perhaps it was strange for a harpy to enter into the hall, an adult male hanging onto her as she gave him a piggy-back ride in.
Actually, that probably would have been strange at any time of night.
See, Hatil and Valko here had come together for the yearly acquisition of sundries and to spend time together as the bestest best friends. However, Valko here had gotten tired on their trip here, so Hatil offered to carry him the rest of the way. Clearly doing so had taken longer than expected, but at least they were here now.
"Maaaaaaan, I'm huuuuuuuungry!" She whined at nobody in particular before looking over at her boo. "Wanna go get food?" Should she put him down? Probably. But she might have forgotten she was carrying him at this point.

Valko was not used to flying, which was odd considering the demon had wings all his life.
Recently he had started learning to fly, taking the same lessons as his kids. But the fact that he had just started meant he wasn't very good and thus tired out easily.
Luckily he had his bestest best friend with him and she was nice enough to carry him. What a good friend.
"Food" Valko agreed before resting his chin on Hatil's hair. The food here was all ways good and Hatil must have used a lot of energy bringing him here.
As she didn't set him down he simply sat on her back, if he tried to wiggle down he might knock her over and that would be bad.

Hymn was elated! Joyous! Maybe even a bit giggly! How wonderful had that been? Oh, absolutely fantastic! All thoughts towards the maze had been completely washed from his mind like the waves that broke when he found himself back on the beach. Guess that's all he needed to feel right as rain again or perhaps it was just the adrenaline. Either way...
Actually, he was feeling so good he figured he'd take the chance to join in on the festivities! Would it not be wonderful if others found themselves so in love they'd also like to tie the knot? Oh, yes, he'd be very willing to stay up the whole night to ensure that every love bird was united! Now that would be a Venus Day to remember!
In his glee he swung his bow around and shot off a pair of arrows, he placed a hand over his eyes as if to block out the sun while he watched it fly through the air towards an odd looking couple that had just made their entrance. My, wouldn't that be a way to start the evening! He grinned madly as he watched it head for its mark- wait. Those arrows...
He looked down at his crossbow and about had a fit. Anteros was gonna kill him!! His head snapped up and he reached out a hand towards the arrow in the distance as it managed to nail the pair. Oh, my... Well, the job was done he supposed. Woo, another married pair!?
