[PRP] A Spark of Another Kind (Makuu & Zisa)

Zisa was... well, she was walking. She wasn't really having that good of a time. She had so much family here, and having her siblings just crowding made her want to carve out her own space. Bloodlines were important in this pride, almost as much as being a Reaver, which she could not be anymore.

She didn't quite feel at home in this place. She knew she was born elsewhere, in a different place. Somewhere nice, with grass and cool breezes. She wondered if she could find that place again, but at the same time, that place wasn't her home anymore.

Not really.

Zisa sighed mournfully. Would she be able to find a home? She couldn't seem to find one here, so perhaps elsewhere?

The world had been turned on it's head. Makuu and her family were hit with the reality of a significant loss. A loss that not only impacted them, but the pride itself.

Zjarri'fol was dea.

Mourning the loss wasn't just a quick event - not for her or her brother. The difference was that her brother fell back into his duties where she was faced with the change in own tasks and requirements. The law had changed, becoming unfit in her mind. Worst of all the leader was so sure of himself that he hadn't even bothered to make a declaration of some kind to tell off her family, instead chose a silent method that seemed eerie and made her sick to her stomach.

Needless to say she was drowning in sorrow and nerves damn near constantly. Any time she was able to spend away from the prides center most area was gold. Today she went her normal route and was surprised to see that someone else was in her path. A lioness looking in a very similar state.

"Hello there." She said softly, as though not to spook the lioness in deep thought, but equally not to spook her own self. She was keenly aware of how alerted she was - a result of having to constantly watch her back.

Zisa froze at the sound of another voice. She turned towards the sound of the other - the other lioness, she now realized. She breathed a soft sigh of almost-relief and acknowledged the other lioness with a small "hello."

She took a moment to assess the other lioness. It didn't appear that the other lioness was a threat. In fact, it looked as if the other lioness was as weary as she was. She hardened her nerves and took a few steps forward towards the other lioness. She seemed vaguely familiar, though she was very obviously related to the Fallen Warlord. Zisa must have seen her around before. Life must be hard for someone related to a former leader.

Zisa wouldn't have that problem, not ever. Not if she planned to leave this place. She gave another soft breath to calm herself.

"How are you faring?"
