There was a human adventurer who lived a nice life until he met a mermaid who he fell in love with. He turned her human, thought her about being human & they were together. After a while, the human and the mermaid got married.

Idessa listened to the story. She had heard similar ones, some ended happily, others didn't. She found herself relieved when the lovers in the story got a happy ending. Shandris then came in to check on Idessa. Hello. How did your dance you, Idessa? So you and my brother are boyfriend and girlfriend? That's wonderful! Shandris was happy for her new friend.

Idessa, do you know how to swim using human legs instead of a tail? I can show you some other rooms in the castle if you like, so to pass the time until the party starts.

Idessa, to learn to swim as a human, you'll need a human swimsuit. Males uses Swim Trunks, while Females use One-piece swimsuits or two-pieces called bikinis.

Idessa, maybe we can get you some swimsuits when you and I go shopping tomorrow?

Idessa, Shandris can come too.
And together the Shandris & Granis showed Idessa the rest of Castle Padarak: The Guild Hall, the kitchens, the preforming stage, the library, the gardens and swimming pool. Then Granis gave Idessa a small pouch containing $20 in Gold. Idessa, this is for you for tomorrow. Its some extra money that I earned while questing earlier today.

Idessa nodded. "I have seen humans swimming. They come out in boats to the deeper water sometimes, and swim around with their heads above the surface. It is very different from mermaids swimming. But I have seen the swimsuits you speak of. I would like to get something like that. Maybe in pink." She said thoughtfully.

She went with the siblings and admired the beautiful castle. She had many questions about the kitchen, about fireplaces, and other things one didn't find in the ocean. She was curious about all the details of human life.

Mogroe: Hello, Granis, kupo! Who's your friend? Then one of the Moogle Brothers enter the bedroom.

Idessa, this is Mogroe, one of the 5 Moogle Brothers that live here in Padarak. Moogles are adorable fluffy creatures usually with white fur, wings & a red pom pom. They can speak our language and sometimes say kupo. Granis said this as he introduced the moogle to Idessa.

"I think so too", Idessa said, smiling. She took the pouch from Shandis and put into it the blueish pearls she had worn on her head as a mermaid. She kept the freshwater pearls with coral that she was wearing on her arms and as earrings. They went quite well with her pink gown, so she was thinking of wearing them to the party tonight.

Idessa couldn't resist petting Mogroe's soft fur. "It would be fun to meet your brothers", she told him. "Granis, I haven't even known moogles exist!" She told him.

Idessa clasped Granis' hand in hers. "Now, chocobos and horses I have at least heard about! Yes, I'd love to see some!" She said eagerly.

"Thanks! Pearls are my favorite jewels", she replied to Shandris. "There are some sunken ships near our village, but my people have taken all valuable items from them a long time ago. To find treasure, I have gone some distance from the village - although I wasn't allowed to go very far before I turned fifteen." She explained.
