Laone wasn’t sure how long he’d been wandering aimlessly for, it felt like forever. Sometimes he was sure that the world itself was some kind of dream, scattered with dreamers he could interact with. Sometimes he was terrifying to them, the worst thing they could ever have run into, sometimes he saved them from the worst time of their life. It had been a long time, and finally after an age, he found himself bored by it all. He wanted to settle somewhere, to get to know a group of lions more intimately than as a figure passing in the night.

He was in mortal form, as he typically was, a slender looking adolescent white lion with subtle grey markings and an unimpressive mane. He wasn’t entirely sure what brought him to this particular pride, perhaps it was just the closest one to him when he decided his life path needed to go in another direction, perhaps it was fate intervening. He didn’t really question it, he just walked patiently, ascending the hostile cliffs and ignoring the weather that periodically tried to hinder his path. He’d never really been someone who felt things intensely and this was like anything else.

As he went there were scents that hinted that lions did live up here, but he couldn’t tell if it was recent or if they’d simply left long ago and he was picking up their fading borders.

He'd look on the youngish side of adolescent thanks to an illusion + in mortal form. I just don't have a ref of it. ONE DAY.
