.xx¤ Personality: Even if speaking wasn't physically painful, Dragomir (or Crow as most call him) would still be mute. Even in bird form, he rarely speaks, though he does still do so from time to time in order to get the attention of humans or non-corvid avians. He prefers to watch the world go by him rather than interact with it, and he usually won't react unless something egregiously evil is going down, a child is in danger, or he or his kindred birds are attacked. Looking deep into his eyes, you will find that he has seen much, and while he physically survived it, spiritually/psychologically/etc. he did not. He is not completely dead, however; he seems to have a deep bond with Saya Shusona, as evidenced by the fact that he is often with Saya, and tends to listen to and somewhat interact with the man.

.xx¤ Distinguishing Features: Pointed elf-like ears and large black wings should be distinguishing enough. In addition he has an rfid code tattooed on the back of his neck, and a vast web of scars on his back as well as a long one running all of the way down his sternum, and several smaller scars running parallel to his spine. Should one catch him in a tight-fitting shirt or with no shirt at all, one will notice that he is lacking (starting from clavicle to lumbar vertebrae, all on the left) ribs #3-6 and 11 and 12; because of this he is very guarded of his left side. His entire wardrobe is black, and consists of long sleeve shirts with slits in the back for his wings, and slacks or light knit pants.

Corvus: (s)he who possesses this ability becomes a fully functioning corvid (crows, ravens, and magpies). The user can empathically communicate with all creatures within this family or speak with them in their native language (aka cawing). Corvids who spent a particularly large amount of time with the user develop a deeper bond to the point that they can telepathically communicate with the user. The user may also transform into one of these creatures. The user retains all memories and cognitive abilities, however (s)he does not have access to any unique abilities except for what the corvid can typically do. The user can communicate with other types of birds, but the speech is hard to understand (think incredibly opposite dialects), and the birds are under no compulsion to even tolerate the user. Finally, the user has an eidetic memory (as corvids are incredibly intelligent and see to it that their families learn well) meaning that the user can recall anything (s)he has ever encountered.
There are a few obvious weaknesses to this ability. First, the user cannot summon corvids out of thin air: they need to be present in order to be communicated with. The user may ask a few corvids to tell others to convene somewhere, but steps must be taken in order to gather them. Second, as previously noted, in corvid form, the user does not gain access to anything that a normal corvid could not do (except for change back into a human). Third, the user becomes a regular old corvid: no enhanced size or abilities, just your run-of-the-mill corvid. Fourth, the user cannot pick and choose what memories are retained. All memories are retained no matter how happy or horrific. Fifth, adopting corvid form for short periods has no ill effects; however, adopting the form for more than a certain amount of time (given how long this user has been training, the limit is a day) results in the user slowly losing his/her original form, and even in human form (s)he will have an aspect or two of the corvid form. These aspects stack until the user can no longer become human anymore. The user must wait an equal amount of time to the length of last use before using corvid form again, or else the time stacks. Finally, while it is fairly easy to transform, it takes significantly more energy to transform form corvid to human, so if the user was already tired/weak, transforming could cause him/her to fall unconscious (even if the user is perfectly fine at time of transformation from corvid to human, after it is complete, (s)he will often be rather tired and famished.) Should the user fall unconscious (or asleep) while in corvid form, (s)he will automatically transform back into a human.
For this user in particular, the wings he sports while in human form are mostly vestigial. They can move some and provide shelter, but he cannot use them to fly.
