The twins have finally made it Myrsky Syntynyt but their welcoming party has been less than... welcoming. Vígdís has taken it upon herself to show the boys the proper Stormborn way.

Loch nodded in turn but he didn't think this particular lioness cared all that much why they were here. He stepped closer to his brother, not in fear, but in a show of strength. Like it or not, taking on two was harder than one. "Let us pass."

Myrsky Syntynyt way was to let challengers go so they may attempt to join again in the future. Just another tradition that was so against her instincts. Why wouldn't they take losers as thralls? Putting her disgruntled thoughts aside, she stood from her crouch with what could only be described as a pout. "Fine. I accept your challenge... s." She rolled her shoulders, clearly loosening up for a fight. Ignoring their confused expressions, she continued. "This will be one at a time. If either of you attempt to assist the other in his challenge, it is forfeit and you lose." She sent both males a piercing look. Taking their silence as understanding, she stood a respectable distance from them as if waiting. "So? ...Whose first?"

Looking to the other, they shared a brief, eerie conversation which essentially ended with a shrug. They knew that Stormborn was a warrior's path. To deny a challenge would be a coward's choice. Fintan specifically could not walk away from an opportunity to prove himself, foolhardy as he was. "Alright. Let's do this." His stance was grounded and braced, as if he expected the lioness to spring on him at any moment.

Nodding to each other, Loch stepped off to the side of the lion and lioness with a grim expression. He didn't think that the lioness would go for a kill or mortally wounding his brother but she wouldn't get the chance he decided now. If a hint of lethal action showed, he'd be in the brawl in a flash. In the mean time though, he waited quietly for his turn.

Once he was in a position she seemed sufficiently far from her and her challenger, she nodded and locked eyes with the first lion. "Good luck lion." She briefly grinned at her opponent and returned to her crouch. Instead of lunging immediately, however, she circled to the right. Never go for the obvious a voice spoke to her in her head and it was not her own. She didn't know whose it was, really, but it spoke a principle she remembered from a young age.

The lion was wary and mimicked her, which was fine. She lurched but feigned and returned to her crouch. Her grin was back. She missed this, the challenge, the experience. Not to be distracted however, she focused back in her body and genuinely lunged this time. He was somewhat prepared but didn't glance her blow well enough. She caught his side, gripping briefly and pulling him over with her. On the grounded they grappled with an array of swipes and snarls and broke apart as suddenly as they had come together. Neither suffered significant blows from this exchange as it was somewhat evenly matched, to her displeasure. Her growl boiled deep in her throat as she returned to her circling, eyes locked on the lion.

She was unnerving but the male tended to blame the fact that he'd been traveling for days more over the fact that a lioness frightened him. He let out a snarling roar in an attempt to unnerve her in kind but only succeeded in drawing out her arrogant smirk again.

A spike of anger pierced him then and he lunged, attempting to let got of his calculating mind and let instincts take over. He succeeded in returning to their grappling match in the dirt, trading blows without severely damaging the other. This broke apart quicker than it had previously and the lions mirrored each other's snarl, fur standing on edge.
